"I'm here, really good food! both had to start bruscheta. Nice. only negatiw for me were the discs of the raw garlic in it. we both had it. we had huh and stornoway blackpudding on kartoffelmash and berry jus that was fantastic and penne arabbiata was great. we ordered garlic bread that was massive! Maybe next time order half a part. great food, service and wine. hidden gem and will be back!"

"My husband spoke positively about his previous visit to this restaurant for brunch with a family member so we decided to give it a try for dinner. The food may be good but the service was abysmal. When we walked in, it was like the record skipped and conversation stopped weird vibe. The place wasn’t busy (two other tables were occupied) so there was really no reason for my husband to flag down the server after waiting for 10 minutes so she could take our order. At least it didn’t take 20 30 minutes for the meals to get to the table (15 minutes for a burger and onion rings/clubhouse sandwich and wedges). When the server did walk by the table, she didn’t ask how everything was, as is customary at any restaurant. Her only question was, “Do you want more mayo?” There actually should have been mayo on the clubhouse sandwich, at the very least and some form of condiments on the burger. With the other tables, there was friendly banter nothing for us. It may be a matter of taste but it certainly isn’t ours and we wouldn’t recommend it."

"Very nice atmosphere, great food, good music. Waiter was very polite and friendly. Our 'Magic Mushroom ' burger did come without the hash brown but it was delicious nonetheless. I recommend the What 's Ur Beef burger. 5 stars overall, would come back. Pictures show: Magic Mushroom burger with Sweet Potato Crispy Fries What 's Ur Beef burger with Vegan Cheese Sticks (the dip with the cheese sticks was really good!"

"Went with a group of friends for the first time to this pub, as we aren’t local, lovely friendly pub with excellent food and staff. Had booked a covered outside table due to one of my party undergoing treatment and unable to be in the sun, they couldn’t have done more for us once we realised an error with the booking had occurred. And to top it off was able to leave the car overnight and they even had my sunglasses the next morning as I had left them behind me. Above and beyond and will already looking forward to my next visit!!"

"Chris was quick and super helpful despite the fact that I had attacked him shortly after his opening and my coffee and waving and waning (havent found that outside America in the old! was to die. good price for what I had. can only recommend the breakfast at the moment, but will be definitiw back! thank you!"

"Went here for the real ale and enjoyed the Steaming Billy. The service was spot on from very friendly staff. We went and sat in the far room wher the dartboards are so we could have a quiet drink. This was spoiled, not the pub's fault, by one of the only other two people in there. Not only was she loud but she never shut up for the time we were in. How she managed to breath I don't know. And it was only four p.m.. We left after 10 minutes. We will go back though."
