"We ordered the Beef Burger the Lamb Shank with Jalapeño Cheese Poppers on the side for the night. <br/ <br/ The beef burger was cooked perfectly however nothing too special flavour-wise, just the average burger. <br/ Lamb shank was cooked well had a lot of flavour, definitely recommend that! Mushroom sauce was creamy yummy with the tender lamb meat. <br/ Jalapeño cheese poppers were also good flavorful. <br/ <br/ We were the only ones there on a Thursday night it was pretty dead but luckily for us food did not take long at all to arrive, service was ok. Recommend if you want pub food but don’t want to spend over $25 for a meal."

"New favourite smoked bbq joint. Small and cozy on Ponsonby Road, we find out about this place from Entertainment Book. We like to order their platter for 2 as you get to try abit of everything from meats and sides. Full to the brim and definitely value of money for $69. We like their collard greens, devilled eggs, baked beans and potato salad. Their sausage and brisket are the highlight for us."

"Nothing beats NZ green lip mussels steamed in blue cheese or creamy white wine sauce with a side of fries and your favorite Belgium beer. Overall the food quality and service has dropped post COVID which is a shame. I hope it's just a temporary thing. Came here twice in two weeks, the mussels were not as fresh at the second visit and over cooked, sauces were not as good as previous."

"Went to Miss Clawdy for a small, intimate dinner and most of the food did not disappoint. Highlights were the tacos (pulled pork and fish, , beef ribs(!!! and the kumara. the famous fried chicken was okay and so was the jambalaya, but probably wouldn't order again. We had the strawberry cake/tart and the cheesecake for the dessert and I would suggest you give the cheesecake a miss unless you like your dessert extremely dense, and not in the good way. <br/ <br/ Service was an A and our waiter was very fast and friendly. It was a pleasure having him as our waiter that evening. The manager was also very welcoming and friendly and the overall ambience of the restaurant and the speed at which our dishes came out made dining an absolute pleasure. <br/ <br/"
