"First visit. Had a late lunch at the bar and were treated very well by staff. Enjoyed watching the oyster shucking. Food was excellent...calamari, fish sandwich, crab cakes, and PEI oysters. Will go back again when in the area."

"I haven't gone to China village in a while but this place has been here forever. Place looks run down, it looks the same as 20 years ago but the food is amazing. Best Chinese food in town. House fried rice and hot and sour soup are really good. Best hot and sour soup. Last time I checked, pricing was reasonable."

"I was curious about this place and finally got to drop by yesterday! I wanted to get the oxtail but didn't know it was Weekends only, so my partner and I got dinner combos with a peach cobbler. It took a while for our food to arrive but it was fine sitting inside of the restaurant waiting. I had the BBQ ribs with fried okra and mac n cheese. It was superbly done. The sauce was great with some heat, the ribs were done well and soft with great flavor, and the sides were amazing too! The peach cobbler was really great and I wish I ordered 2 since it was hard to share. Decadent with soft dough and baked peaches. My partner got the catfish dinner which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Our food was hot and tasty, with great breading and frying. Highly recommend this place and looking forward to trying more of the different dishes. Make sure to tip them well!"

"We arrived at a Sunday night for dinner at 7:00. They weren't super busy. The waitress was super sweet. We had all empty plates until we finished. My parents are from the south and love this soul food. My catfish was fresh, damp, hot... personally recommend everything you see on the photos."

"We didn't get the food we ordered. Granted, we ordered pick up and I SHOULD have double checked the order before we left. None the less, they messed up on our order and refused to fix the problem and make it right. Food was COLD. Like still half frozen cold. 10/10 awful customer service and food, would not recommend."

"DO NOT ORDER NEW YORK WOK ON DOOR DASH!I ordered $53 worth of from using Door Dash. All of the food containers were not sealed! They were lose and easily accessible. This is deemed unsafe food delivery by Door Dash.I order from Door Dash all the the time and I have NEVER received unsealed food before.I took a bite of the food but couldn 't eat it any of it. I didn 't feel right eating it. I threw it away.How do I know my food wasn 't tampered with while it was being delivered???Because of this very careless practice, I will never order from New York Wok again."

"Amazing people working there (managers too). I LOVE their fried pickle chips... TGI Fridays Texas Roadhouse used to be my ONLY two places to order fried pickle chips... but now it’s no longer on TGI’s menu... so Texas Roadhouse is the ONLY place to get it. Great food all-around, amazing menu choices, very reasonable Children’s Menu, and all of it is dee-liscious."
