"Highly disappointed last night. Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day specifically to avoid the chaos of last minute long lines for the holiday. Booked a later reservation (8:15) to further avoid the chaos. Instead upon arriving, my fiancé and I discovered a line almost out the door, mostly other people also waiting for their reservation. One lady had already waited over an hour for her *reserved* table. Unacceptable. We enjoyed a Valentine’s Day meal at one of the many other restaurants just minutes away. Babin’s needs to work on their seating and reservation management before I’ll be back for any special occasions."

"The service was excellent! Allen was our server and he looked after the details. He was friendly, efficient and personal! The owner came to our table and personally wished the birthday party happy birthday. The food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming! There were five of us. Someone had the southern fried pork chop breakfast and another person had the chicken and waffles."
