"Nice spacious vegan restaurant with friendly staff. Sunday lunch of nut roast or pie with roast and mashed potatoes, roast veg and a (strange) Yorkshire pudding. Nice cakes too. And it IS open from 12 noon on Sundays."

"Our experience this evening was terrible… wrong dish delivered to the table….the waitress was rude not sure she can smile,her nails were far to long considering she’s working around food. It’s not the first time we have had to put up with this in particular waitress…. Bad for business. Would not recommend wasting money at the restaurant… the only pro is we used a voucher "

"My partner has the skewer but it didn’t come with a jacket potato which was disappointing. He also had Gin at £4.50 but paid an extra £3.50 for the tonic, this seems steep in cost which was poor. The steak was delicious and the Jam Sponge too."

"Shocking, ordered through just eat. After 1 hour it had not arrived, rang them to confirm they had recieved the order and was told yes its on its way! After another 45 minutes we rang back up, the guy said they had never received the order and asked why they confirmed they did and it was on its way! The guy replied ‘well i didnt check and just guessed’... absolute disgrace of a business and rude staff, will never use again!"

"Thyme to eat is a pretty picturesque in the good wise little caffe set between the gasses in chesterfield city center. it serves a decent menu, with usually vegetarian options, but there are enough vegan choices not only in terms of meals, but also in terms of drinks and cakes. I had a bbq jackfruit pitta, from the “Specials” board, served with gazed kartoffels and a side salad. the food was great, the setting was nice, and the price was in-line with everywhere else. a really pleasant meal that made a change from the usual chain cafés and restaurants. a light criticism that I would make is that the charalate was much too big. Taste directions may vary, but this salate was enormous to be wasted. I ate as much as I could, but it was still much left I felt that the ratio of salat to the rest of the food was completely wrong, but that's just me."
