"Wasn't bad. Glad they were finally open. Last 6 or 7 times I came here to eat it was 5:30-6:00 for dinner and they were closed cause a bunch of lazy employees didn't feel like they should show up. Not sure what kind of people expect a business to stay open and pay bills if they don't show up. Food was alright though."

"I ordered through an app. 3 different ways pop up on my cell phone. It doesn 't specify if it is curbside, rapid, or drive thru. I went through the drive thru, tell them I had an order to pick up. When they brought the food to the window, I can hear someone telling the girl at the window, to tell me with rapid orders you have to come inside, it 's ok this time but for future reference . I told her it didn 't say how to pick it up. She responded, it doesn 't . Ok, I guess they expect people to be telepathic. I think it is petty and not good customer service. Is it REALLY so inconvenient for an employee to walk around, grab it, and bring it the drive thru?? It 's only this location that has bad service. You don 't make a big issue about walking around the corner to give a customer an over priced order. Especially if I can visibly see 7 people just in back. Ridiculous. I will drive to Grand Blanc or to Fenton next time."

"This location is the best of all the Big John's. The service is always fast whether it's through drive through or ordering inside. The subs are always fresh and hot which is key. Usually I am ordering subs for the whole family and everyone has their own preference. Our order is always right although I wish there was a better way to mark them. However, we love that the menu is consistent and that iconic Big John logo wrap for the subs is like receiving a Christmas present every time! My family and I have been coming here for decades and we always bring out of towners here to try the best steak subs we've ever eaten. My go to is the Original Steak and Onion with red sauce and peppers."

"Can't beat a good Big John's. Always been a staple in our family's house. As a Flint native I grew up with Big John's. Visited and ate at most if not all of the local locations. "Corporate has taken this place down another notch. Fewer selections for side dishes. No collard greens in a bbq joint, who thought that was a good idea. Coleslaw recipe has changed as well and not for the better. The ribs were tasty but I have never seen baby back ribs with bones that big. We were there on a Sunday and the place was nearly empty. That is a big indicator to me that other customers feel the same. On a brighter note, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent."
