"Take it to Shiner Brewery. On a recent trip to the Shiner Brewery Tour we decided to stop here on the way back to try it out. Good decision! The sausage was excellent. This sausage is handmade and smoked on site, giving it a looser texture than some would like, but the taste is from this world. You know how to build a taste in your mind, how to taste a sausage before you even taste it? For me, this sausage has met this expectation at the first bite. Just delicious. We also had brisket, that was moist and tender and had good smoke taste. Texas Brisket as I like it. You sit in one case, so I will be sure to go earlier reward you with the juicy brisket (and ribs, like any other BBQ place. I like the old Texas Square that builds his house, and the rustic interior, and the wonderful smoke aroma is a smell that I'm pretty sure I would never get tired. The people here were as friendly as they come and that was a good trip around (The Shiner Brewery was amazing. Maybe next time I get the BBQ and I eat picnic tables with a fresh shin."

"I ordered the pastor and the barbacoa. Spoke my best broken Spanish and was very comforted by the kindness in trying to understand me. The tacos were the BEST I have ever had. I almost got back in my car to drive back for more but decided to just wait until lunch the next day. A hidden gem. Will definitely be back."

"Fabulous food, on our way to Paso Robles stop for a quick lunch!! A lot of locals Family place tacos were great! Small like hole in the wall glad we stopped. Would stop again!!"

"We usually eat BBQ in Lockhart at a well-known place, but we decided to stop here and try it out. The brisket taco was scrumptious and my husband enjoyed his BBQ plate. We topped lunch off with banana pudding. And the ticket was much easier on the pocket than the popular place! I think I see more tacos from this stop in my future."

"Sorry, I don't have a starter photo for the presentation (only a hungry fat boy ready to chow down). I had the Indulgent BBQ. That thing was so good. The potato bunker was a light, roasted compliment hand-patched 100% beef patty. I changed pepper Jack cheese for Cheddar and added pickles (this seemed to be home style thick cut not paper thin as fast food). My meal came fast, fresh and made to order more with a very generous serving of pommes (personal size) than I would have or would have. This was my first visit on a working trip to the area. I recommend you to give it an attempt if you are in the mood for a burger and are tired of the FAST FOOD GIANTS. Look at Mooyah!"
