"Had my first experience recently while visiting Lampasas. The location is nice, as well as the actual business itself. However, I was not impressed with the service or food. The cashier was neither inviting, nor friendly. The meat was nothing to write home about, the sausage was dry from sitting out all day, the brisket lacked moisture, as well as an forum of smoke absorption. Honestly, my favorite part of the meal was the BBQ sauce. It helped improve the lack of taste. Most likely wouldn't go back unless the meal was free."

"Great experience! Friendly people, immaculately clean environment and delicious bbq with really generous portions! We literally couldn't finish our two meat plates! Ribs fell off the bone! Lean brisket was tender and flavor filled and the jalapeno sausage was the best!!"
