"To begin, I’m leaving a higher star rating than I want to solely because we are living in difficult times and I understand how challenging it is to operate a business. However, the total lack and disregard for Covid19 precautions is incredibly concerning and disrespectful. We were very appreciative of the fact that a table was provided to us with little wait and no reservations New Years Eve night and the food was quite good, but it was nearly impossible to relax and feel safe. The restaurant was filled to capacity, no one was wearing masks. Patrons entered without masks, we did not see a single staff member wearing a mask. Servers and hostesses leaned in uncomfortably close to take orders and tables were right next to one another with at least 2 tables seating 10 people. Diners from other tables were leaving their tables to stand over tables with other diners whom they clearly knew. No one was informing diners to return to their tables or attempting to social distance and/or protect anyone. Although the food and service were good, I’d never return during the COVID19 pandemic. We ordered the prime rib which was delicious and flavorful although overly salted, the asparagus was perfectly cooked and the substituted mashed potatoes although overly salted were excellent. The ribeye was also so wonderful and the chanterelle mushrooms were perfect as were the potatoes. We were very happy with the food. Please, for the safety of others consider adding masking and social distancing policies to your business."
