"Always amusing to read negative reviews to determine their validity. The negative ones for La Officina are beyond ridiculous and have nothing to do with the food served there. We have eaten there twice, just to make sure! Everything is delicious, and the friendly atmosphere is so inviting. The whole family works there, the kids help too! Smiles everywhere and attentive service. Ribs on Sunday are some of the best we've ever had, even better than Memphis, or Atlanta. The sandwiches are so fresh, try the veggie one and add bacon (per the chef reccomendation), he is a genius, what a combo, if you aren't a vegetarian . Value is great for what you are getting. Same meal in the USA or Canada would be double, at least, and not as tasty, because all the ingredients in Mexico are so much tastier. And the place has a cool vibe. Great place to watch sports. We will be back, and often."

"Located in the 'older part' of San Patricio de Melaque, in Vila Obregon this family run restaurant is located at the front part of a house in a relatively quiet street.A few tables outside on the side walk, some inside and now even a few set aside for smokers (!) on the side of the building. Great tasting food with a number of daily specials to choose from. We had BBQ spare ribs and they were delicious and well priced at 100 pesos per person. Not much choice in the line of drinks, but that's OK, you come for the food ! Try and go early as they tend to fill up quickly and take a table outside. Reason: they often have 3 musicians ( 2 guitars plus a female singer) and they tend to sound very loud inside the concrete room which make conversation impossible!"

"Very good fish at this restaurant. Went with friends. Two of us got our meals at the same time. One fifteen minutes later. The bill took forever to come. Other than that, the food is excellent and very inexpensive."

"We weren't happy with either the food or the service here. We arrived and sat at a table and were ignored for 15 minutes. There was only one other rabble occupied at the time. Since they were new we hung in there and stayed and ordered. The food wasn't awful but nothing spectacular. With so many incredible places to eat in town. I won't be coming back."

"Staff were fantastic. This restaurant has been established for a few years with food being excellent from the first day of opening to being consistent and always referred to as one of the best restaurants in Melaque by other tourists. Enjoyed the food, staff and family once again. A real treat!"

"We ordered fish and chips. The order was substantial one order would be good for two to share. The food was quite greasy, Maybe the deep fryer is not hot enough. Onion rings are a nice touch. Mice sports bar."
