"The best tourist spot in the city; great boating fun, sight seeing with warm friendly Owners and staff to help with the boats and serving fantastic barbecued food. Started by Frank's Herr's dad, Ed Herr, the boat house has been part of the Herr family for over 50 years. I have been going to Stratford in the summers since I was a kid and this boat house has always been a part of my families agenda. Every time I'm in the city, stopping at the Avon boat house is must. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; you will love it."

"This striking and award-winning restaurant has new property and things have already changed for the worst. The operating times start at 11 a.m. and the breakfast menu was eliminated M-F . BIG MISTAKE. There are few options in Stratford for a late morning breakfast that was so popular. Hopefully the new owners come to their senses."

"A delightful surprise find by my sister, she couldn't wait to take our mother and me to the charming backyard patio for a delicious shared tapas meal and a light glass of wine. It felt like they knew we were coming. The menu is a delicious selection of local foods prepared in really innovative ways on small plates to share. Cheeses, honey, fantastic home-made crisps, greens, smoked trout, oils -- it was all creatively presented and delicious. The owner was so lovely, wanted to know what we liked, really interested in our feedback. The waiter was fun and knowledgeable, and we bought some fun gifts from the displays at the front. Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring, this is a charming, friendly but truly innovative destination that warrants frequent repeat visits."

"It's a chain restaurant that I'm not in general. That means it's my favorite of the chains. The food is always tasty, the service is the best, the cook came out to talk to us! The apple butter ribs have a good amount of meat on them, very tasty, and the middle wings were the best I had in years! The children's menu is amazing, much more options than most restaurants... my child had a hard time to decide! The Koleslawe was bland, but it's cabbage. Go for the beans instead. When we walked, the place was crowded by a huge sports group and their children, who shattered the baths. The staff remained calm and sweet during the noise and stress, and our waiting was not too long, despite the 40 meals pumped by the formidable kitchen staff. The quality of the food has also not suffer, large kitchen! Cheers to our bartender, host, server. Your trip to P.C. is well deserved!"

"Fast service and a good selection of snacks while enjoying the park and greenscapes. Not sure about the comments of overflowing garbage cans, as we're here at the park 3-4 times a week and I've never seen this."

"DOES NOT USE OPEN TABLE.... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HERE. Food is okay. Huge portions, veggie burger is like a thick slab of undercooked paste. Not great. Beer selection is fine, but during busy times service is too chaotic to get more than one or two drink orders in. Probably made worse by ppl showing up thinking they have reservations when they don't. Again, the host told us they no longer use open table, yet it's still on here. We had to wait at the bar for a table and then had a rushed dinner to make our play ontime."
