"We had a great party. You were very flexible and let us arrive an hour earlier, then introduce us a number of reservations. The waitress was very nice. We never sat long before she checked us. The food was good. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. The best thing is they never kicked us out. We could sit there for 2 hours and enjoy."

"Fish strips and a super delicious baked potato with BBQ pulled chicken, bacon, sour cream and cheese. Don't forget the Coleslaw and Maisbrot! I repaired my car at Meineke, went outside and smells this amazing food, asking the nice lady in Meineke what that was and she directed me on you. I'll be back! Really amazing."

"Excellent service, food, and drink. We stopped by here while on a cross-country journey with our dog. Note that the outdoor patio here is dog friendly. We were incredibly happy with everything about this place. All the dishes we ordered were quite good. I recommend the bratwurst platter. Beer was also great. And the service was accurate and friendly. We will be sure to make this a regular stop when we pass through Des Moines."

"They really did have the coldest beer I've had, very good! We went there when it wasn't very busy, about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. The bartender was sitting with guests and got up pretty quickly to help us. We had the appetizer sampler and some sort of wings. The food was decent but maybe a little overcooked, but we ate almost all so it wasn't so bad! After the bartender was done with her shift she was sitting down behind the bar between some liquor bottles, by the ice container, with bare legs that seemed like a bit of a health code violation. Otherwise we had a fine visit."

"It was wonderful! The food was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The guy doing the food prep (I wish I knew his name so I could mention him) was unbelievably busy. It was the weekend before Christmas, and the mall was packed, so restaurants were very busy. Not only did he keep up with the orders, he still made time to smile, thank the customers, and wish everyone a “Merry Christmas”. Thank you for the amazing customer service!!"

"This place was delicious. I had a walking tote, the fried egg and added bacon in which they are generous to help. I tried the roasted Brussel sprouts, the brilliant with the sauce that comes with. I washed it with a root beer boot that was made perfect. Enough ice until the end with the right amount of soda at the end. I'd buy from here again."
