"If you are expecting the El Ranchito of 20 plus years ago you'll be disappointed. I went with my sister a month ago and had the barbacoa de res. It was good but not at all like the original. I went back a few days ago and had it again but couldn't get past the manure barnyard sour smell coming from the dish. I'm being serious when I say it smelled like a pasture. The waitress was nice about it but gave a lame excuse from the cook. He said it was cooked yesterday and that's why it had a funny smell. No cars in the parking lot at lunchtime should have been my first clue. I will not be coming back. I wish I had a time machine."
