"I had an amazing experience at El Catrin in Oak Cliff!! This place is so friggin fun to visit! I couldn't believe it had been there 10 years. Your eyes are constantly dancing around looking at the wonderful and inviting decor. Great service! The chips were great and served with salsa Verde, black bean dip and in house amazing salsa which was perfectly spicy enough for me, but the guy informed me they had spicier(a word if you're from Texas) options available. Like every visit I have to a Mexican restaurant , I had the Mole Poblano de Pollo and my hubs had the Burrito al Carbon and you got to pick your meat for that dish. This place has a wonderful atmosphere. Of course, I had a margaritas and it was pretty tasty as well, but I think they only serve frozen and I'm personally a rocks gal. I love the rim they used. I think it was tajin and cholula together, but I could be wrong. Whatever the case, freaking tasty. I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable meal."

"My husband and I love Gloria's but the last time we came we noticed the prices had gone up again and the food wasn't as consistent as it had been in the past. We stick to grilled chicken fajitas most of the time so we enjoyed it, but it just wasn't as good as it usually is. Salsa and bean dip were on point as usual though!"

"Honduran is not so easy to find in dfw, but we found a good among all Korean restaurants on the royal lane. you know that it's legit when the menu is spanish, only with some Honduran dishes my Mexican woman has never heard of. they start with chips that come with a beautiful bean dip, and there are salsas in squeeze bottles on the table. the red salsa has a beautiful kick, but they need to the orange ish salsa (what is a mayo / ketchup mix, I think? on everything! the pupusa is a must at $1.99 per order. it comes with a few plucked cauliflower and a tomato sauce and it's so good and they can't beat the price! the pork chop is perfectly cooked and is well seasoned. it comes with a heaping side of tajadas, which in the round like a fried plantain with cauliflower, salsa and cotija cheese. the chicharron is super crispy and reminds me of filipino lechon kawali probably the best we had, and everything we ordered was excellent! also the yuca is well prepared. leylita is the definition of a hidden gemstone. we will definitely be back, not only to order the same dishes again, because they were so good, but also their suppening and try a few things from the breakfast menu!"
