"By looking at the other reviews, it seem like people are here for different food items. I heard good things about the one in RS. The Good and the bad: The Carne Asada and Pastor were good. The carne Asada burritos was good but they drown it in guacamole after I told cashier I wanted it for next day. The cook does not understand english and seemed to not even comprehend what the cashier is asking him(good way for orders to get messed up). Heads up- food is very pricey. 3.00 a taco."

"Beef Taco (Crunchy) is hecka crunchy!! Not soggy or oily like other places, and good amount of filling. The Cheese enchiladas are very hearty and delicious! Chips and Cheese with added lettuce and red enchilada sauce are great to snack on while working. Def will order from here again!"

"We always order menudo from them really early in the morning and it is perfect...it comes with the perfect amount of condiments on the side like oregano , onion and cilantro .They also add there red salsa and warm tortillas . Everything is packed to perfection so it won't spill if eating it at home ...highly recommended"

"Jalapeño isour place for Mexican food. It beats every other place in the Rogue Valley. Yeah. Its that good. Its also at the other end of town so DoorDashing is perfect try anything adobada (we sokitand Adobada Quesadilla its huge. And order chips and salsa. The chips are made there no food service chips. They come hot (even doordashed) and the salsa is more like a pico. Full of tomatoes and so good"

"Ah I love this place so much my favorite of all. Top favorites. Def favorite Mexican food in calaveras. I lived in socal for a long time and this place compares to what I am used to. It's the whole package. And their staff is always great. The prices are fair. The torta is amazing. Everything I've had is good. Birria. Amazing. Pozole. Amazing. Tamale. Bomb. Taco. Beans and rice are good. Enchiladas. Burrito. Horchata. Jarritos yum. Their salsas are yummy. Hot carrots mix. Pickled red onions. Micheladas good. I want to try the mocaljete. I want to try a lot of things there's so much to try. I've been so basic. I'll probably never stop coming here it's consistent I'm never disappointed can't beat that. I have been coming here since college idk if it's always been the same owners or what but it's always been good"
