"We had dinner here last night and it was an out on the moon experience. The love to detail in their decoration. The cooking book library section wants to make you start cooking and the heater they put on invisible for us was on a chilly night a surplus. The food high quality for all 3 of us as we picked different things."

"The staff seems to think that if you look like you are not latin you can afford to eat here. Staff had me sit and wait while someone European was able to just walk up. I heard the host say they had been earlier however they were not on any list. I was on waiting list!! These two ladies just walked in!!! I guess they might of thought I do not understand Spanish."

"If you are a tourist, be aware that you will not receive your correct change back because the lady will tell you that the prices went up and the menu is wrong. I ordered 2 chicken plates and 2 Jamaica drinks which was $35 and $12. I gave the lady $100 and she did not give me any change back. She told another guest to tell me that the drinks are actually $15 and the price went up last month. The lady also tried to overcharge the other tourist as well. About the chicken...it was cold and it was bland. The drink was delicious and a nice size. This is the 1st time in 4 weeks I've had any business in all of Guatemala to attempt to cheat me."

"Food and drinks were delicious. Fantastic atmosphere and place to relax/work. Staff was also friendly, but service was a bit slow/lacking after bringing items ordered (no follow up/check in). Otherwise definitely recommend stopping in and enjoying your time."

"On my quest for the best coffees in Antigua I came here upon recommendation of the Aria coffee roasters. They have a fantastic espresso. Single for 10 quetzals, (double for 15) and so far in Antigua this is the absolute best value for money. The café interior is no frills and down to earth. The decor is oriented a bit toward the 50’s Americana with their hangings metal signs and stupid coffee jokes and rustic wooden Antigua heritage look.. When I came in Taylor Swift was playing. They even have good taste in music! I love it! It is refreshing, considering all the many coffee places in Antigua trying their best to be third wave, and then this coffee shop just presents you with a perfect cup of espresso, with coffee from huehuetenango, roasted locally in Antigua and it is just wow! An explosion of flavours and quite a kick. Medium roasted of course, not bitter, round mouthfeel with some nice acidity. I like! They also sell Antigua cerveza for later in the day."

"This hostel is everything! Amazing value for the money. Bunks in dorm have curtains on every bed and each comes with regular and USB outlets, a fan and a reading light. The house is beautifully decorated with modern fixtures and super clean. Showers are hot and with fantastic pressure. Breakfast every morning is excellent and they serve loaf and coffee around 5 pm. Will be back very soon."
