"This place is a favorite among locals and a must-visit for tourists too. The menu is diverse, offering everything from cheese and cold cuts platters to baked jacket potatoes to specialty pastas. I decided to try the paccheri al funghi porcini and a puree of mashed fava beans with chicory on top, and both dishes were delicious. They paired perfectly with a lovely glass of verdeca wine. "Very nice and particular restaurant located in the historic center of Lecce. Well-executed typical Salento cuisine, home-made but very tasty. I especially recommend the meatballs (fantastic), broad beans and chicory, the aubergines parmigiana and the turcineddrhi (lamb innards rolls, very typical). The desserts, certainly homemade, and the wine are also excellent. Average prices for the historic center. Special service, but fun and well executed. Absolutely must try!"

"We ate at the tables outside, the place is nice and, being a very touristy street, sometimes local musicians playing the pizzica pass by, so the atmosphere is nice, without a doubt. The food, however, did not impress us. We took the vegetable ciambotto, the scamorza, the broad beans with chicory... all typical dishes, so we would have expected great flavors but instead nothing special. Maybe the other dishes will be better, I wouldn't return anyway."
