"Ate here twice during our stay and really enjoyed the food. We had a pizza and pasta dish for dinner, both were very good; fresh tasty and good portions. We also returned for lunch. They do a set menu where you get soup and a choice of 3/4 main dishes plus a drink for 10 pesos (around £2.50). Truly excellent value for money. We both opted for the fried fish main which came with salad and rice. It was delicious. Service is pretty decent too."

"A good vegetarian restaurant with friendly staff. I had the Daily menu with a drink, soup, salad, vegetables, something veggie and a falafel (instead of the rice I did not wanted). Together for 10.000 cop (€3). One of the cheapest places with good food."

"This is a fun little place that is set on the first floor of a three-storey shopping mall. The food is the best freshly cooked local food in the city. Huge portions, ingenious Friijoles de la olla, rice, red potato salad with a side dish of beef soup to let you begin. The beer is cold, the juice is fresh, all served under gently swinging ceiling fans (mostly welcome in the Cartagena warmth). People watch is almost as good as eating, as a selection of locals and tourists wander almost as lunch entertainment."

"Happy Hour Cuba Libres! Two for COP $25,000, or about €3.50 each. Plus lemon chicken tacos for roughly the same price. Colourfully decked out interior plus a courtyard (of sorts). Took quite a long time for them to make three small tacos, but they were...good when we got them and we were given a bowl of nachos to make up for it. The bill came to just over COP $80,000 or roughly €20 for four cocktails and three tacos."

"This is a tiny little place we just happened to stumble upon for a Sunday lunch. The whole time we were there, we only saw one older man working there. He was hospitable without being smothering and had a cool elegance about him. The food was incredible. I had a seafood sandwich which I loved and my dining partner had a white fish which he loved. Lovely!"
