"Booked the Tirou yesterday as passing Castelnaudary on way to Toulouse airport on recommendation from friends We were not disappointed The Cassoulet looked superb but too heavy for us en route We chose the cheapest menu and had amazing pate's, superb duck,and Black pudding with apple and superb vegetables Desert was beautiful apple tarted covered in a foam cream sauce, nuts and home made ice cream Service was relaxed but attentive The whole meal was memorable We will be back"

Found a nice place just roundt the corner, turn lef at font door, 50 metres archway on right then 70 metres on right, vey good cassoulet, very good local wine. Name gazouillis, family run friendly. Hotel de frnce retaurant now 50% supermarketsinceRick visited,cannedcassoulet! I didno come this far for a tin."

"We asked for a table outside and were denied on account of the weather. The tables outside were dry and the menus had not been taken in. The manager was distinctly non accommodating and warned us that we would not find a table outside. It turns out that he was wrong and unpleasant."

"Lovely location by the side of the canal: a covered area with seating a metre or two from the water. We arrived early (so hungry after riding 40 miles) it quickly filled up and was popular with families. Service was good about standard....We were hoping for a little more choice than the mainly meat dish menu: a lady at the Tourisme had told us it was a seafood place."
