"Went here after church. Been a while since we have been to any Islands restaurant. It was very nice. Didn't have to wait. I had the Kanapoli salad which was generous on the bacon and bleu cheese. Mrs P had the fish tacos, those were pretty generous. We also got the chips and salsa with guacamole highly recommend that. Definitely going back sometime."

"I wanted to give Mi Burrito a second chance after many of my friends rave over this place. Came here on Tuesday for lunch to take advantage of Taco Tuesday Special. $1.39 Tacos, choice of El Pastor, Carnitas, shredded beef one or chicken. I had to sit. Server brought out chips and salsa that were pretty good. I'd consider the salsa medium hot. I like spicy and the salsa could use more chili peppers. I finished all the chips before a server asked what I wanted to drink. The service was slow. Ordnet pastor, shredded beef and carnitas. Tacos are on the smaller size, streets Tacos on a 4 corn tortillas. Tacos were delicious and would go back for them. Everything was good, service was abit slow."

"Rating my personal gastronomic experience at Northern Cafe a 5 out of 5! One of the most decent and better places that offer Chinese cuisine. Food price is reasonable, portioning is good for sharing and customer service is outstanding! Whether it be noodle dish or rice dish or dumpling, the food is divine! Can’t recommend this place enough. Will come back for another northern cafe experience."

"I have driven by this spot for the last 30 years I've lived in the area and finally stopped by on Easter. Everything came out super quick... We ordered a lot of food and all of it was super good. I think my favorite was the simplicity of the bok choi. If you want something with beef and spicy, try the Mongolian beef. Also, wor wonton soup is delicious!"

"Lunch time did not seem busy at this location (Went on a Tuesday around 1pm). Got seated right away. Server and hostess both were courteous. Our food was prepared fast. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to, but it did make me feel that I’ve had better at home. By that I mean that the flavors for these Mexican dishes were very simple, the rice and beans were what I thought not restaurant quality. The salsas and chips were the best flavored foods in my opinion."

"Simply stated, El Rocoto is a chef owned and operated Peruvian restaurant, serving one of the most delicious expressions of this amazing country 's cuisine in SoCal. Everything we ordered tasted super fresh and made with a lot of love and passion. The quality ingredients are treated with respect, and the cooking techniques involve both the age old traditional Inca style as well as the high BTU range providing a slight smokiness, aka wok hei a product of the Southern Chinese influence in Peruvian cuisine (known as Chifa style). Oh those aromas are to die for! Their tiraditos, lomo saltado, tacu tacu especial, chaufa, and papa rellena tickled our taste buds with a huge array of flavors and textures, way beyond what 's common in any single meal. Although I really got the impression that everything on their menu is scrumptiously delicious! Also, be sure to try one of their amazing craft cocktails as well as their housemate chicha morada! If you 're already familiar with Peruvian food, then you definitely have to try this place, and if you 're not, I 'm telling my friend, you 're missing out big time! Highly recommend!"
