"Stopped here on the way home from Lassen, absolutely famished, wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised! Great quality and quantity, and the staff were awesome and consciousness of my vegetarian diet by warning me about lard in their refried beans."

"I cannot stress enough how much you should use Marsail as your caterer. He was the lowest maintenance of all our vendors. This is because he is so well organized and understands customer service. He had never performed an event at our venue and took time out of his own schedule to survey and plan his set up. This was all on his own initiative. If that wasn't enough, the most important reason you should hire Marsail is his food. It was delicious! I may be biased as it was my wedding, but I have literally been to over 50 weddings and it's the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding! To put it in better perspective, we had around 60 no shows and only enough left overs for about 30 people. So our guests liked it too! If you're reading this, I would call Marsail as soon as you can!"

"This place is so good! I get the 2x2x2 with blackberry pancakes and it's delicious. it's quite small, but cozy. there are plenty of natural light from all windows that are cool. Sundays are pretty busy, but it is still good service. every time I'm gone, the server is really nice. make them simply make sure that they bring cash because they do not take any card payments yet. overall this is a great place to breakfast, would definitely recommend! update: we went back today and it was good as always! Keep the great work!"

"Let's go. Eating at the Tackle Box is a LOT like a classic Clint Eastwood movie... The good, the bathroom and the Ugly . 1., the GOOD. The food is cooked to order, served hot and fresh, with decent portions, and depending on the days there are meals specialties to have. The spices are near Spot-on and come with lots of spices. The atmosphere is classic country, with pool and video games, and a fully dimensioned bar. I ordered the Boar Burger with Fritten, my wife ordered the French Dip with Fritten, and my son ordered the Fried Gator with Fritten (ALL pictured). We also ordered the Fried Mushrooms as an appetizer. Don't let mince words... the boar was well cooked and HEAVY, and had a light playy taste that was expected. The Gator was perfectly seasoned and slightly chewing...again, expected. The French dip was full of meat and vegetables, and the meat was tender. 2nd, the BAD... for the food. Since everything is prepared to order, we waited and waited... and waited. Each order came in 10 minutes increments that did not belong. For our orders it took a total of 40 minutes. Eating a meal as a family was almost ruined. 3., the UGLY... the lack of enthusiasm by the customer, the cook and the server. Everyone looked like they could or should be somewhere, but there, and the amount of flies in the facility. It is hard to eat when you constantly fly watting from both your drink and meal. This place is 3 stars alone through food, but has plenty of space to improve, especially when ordering out and customer service. Yeah, I understand it's a hole in the wall, but it should be BETTER. I can eat here again, but not with the family."

"This restaurant NEVER fails! Today I ordered a Burrito Grande for my son and its easily 2 meals. Massive!! I ordered a Shrimp Fajitas Burrito and it was delicious! The shrimp are more the size of prawns, cooked to perfection, and plentiful! It was a staggering amount of shrimp! So that, as well, is two meals in one. I particularly enjoy their salsa and always order a container because its terrific with lots of dishes. Handmade and fresh daily. Dont deprive yourself of this SM Salsa 12 OZ! Lastly, Im allergic to any pork products and this restaurant has the integrity to make their refried beans with canola oil. Theyre creamy, well seasoned, and delicious. Love love love this restaurant and Im one picky eater!!"
