"Great restaurant away from the tourist area where the locals go, very friendly helpful service with a lot of patience helping our friends to translate the menu, we enjoyed all of our dishes and this is definitely one to return to if like us you want to experience a traditional spanish restaurant but i would say best to have some level of spanish as no english spoken or menus and if they were really busy their time for help would be limited.ps a nice touch was complimentary dessert wine."

"Judging from the 4* rating on TA, you would think that we dined at a completely different restaurant. It makes you doubt the validity and veracity of the reviews here. We spent 3 weeks traveling in Southern Spain, Lisbon, and the Algarve, dining out every evening. This was, by far, the single worst dinner experience of our entire trip to the Andolacia. Nothing we were served was good, in fact I would say lifeless and prepared without pride or care. For a tapa we ordered Pimientos de Padron, billed as a plate of mixed peppers, some hot, some not . All were the same, bland and covered in salt, tasteless, and lacking in texture. Bad value also at 9Euro. Had plate of mixed fish with Cuttlefish. Horrible. The latter was hardly cooked, rubbery, and also tasteless. Ensalada Mixta was simple but boring. Dressing almost non-existent. What surprises and disappoints is that this location is excellent, a cafe right outside next to the ancient wall. Great vibe. How could this management squander the location by hiring a talentless cook(s) ?? This was sadly the only great regret we had dining out, not just in Cordoba, but in all of Southern Spain. Looking at some of the rave reviews here, I have to strongly distrust TripAdvisor now! Talk about grade inflation !!"
