"Mondongo was delicious! It was like having menudo and gumbo. The chorizo, chickpeas, and green leaves were a great special combo. I would come back for that! Good prices! Our waitress was nice enough to call for our taxi."

"Right on the main street,good place to stop & have your meal, drinks. Food is good. They usually have strolling singers/guitars taking song requests. Nice to tip them. Fun experience."

"We pass this place in the morning, and saw a lot of locals eating there. That's why we decide to come back there later and it was worth it :) If You will have a chance just go there and try :) it's cheap and delicious, and fresh :) what else You expect :)"

"I got hooked on this family-run place from the first day on...And didnt pass a day without having the authentic Mexican breakfast here, seated either inside, looking how the lovely, always ready-for-a-chat cooks were preparing the food, or outside, observing the local passer-bies..Who in the end always turned out to enter and eat here! Great variety of quesadillas, including the traditional ones of nopal and huitlacoche. Make sure you try the delicious also home made beverages, or waters, but don't get confused, they are sooooo much more: water of cucumber- ginger-lemon, water of chocolate , horchata, and the list goes on...impecable place. The only downside is they close at 1 pm. But that's only so that they can reopen next morning and make your best breakfast you will have in Mexico!"

"Our hosts at Villa Escondida, Magda and David, took my wife Shirley and I here for a late lunch on a Tuesday, when the special is Chiles Rellenos. Possibly the best chile relleno I have ever had! Served with soup, tortillas, beans and rice at a super low price, I will never miss a Tuesday on Cozumel without visiting here."
