"Food here was very average. Corn chips in the guacamole were stale and the beef tacos were missing more than a couple of flavours.<br> <br> My friend and I were rushed out of the restaurant after we had finished out meal, despite the restaurant being basically empty."

"Lee's Fortuna is old school suburban Chinese restaurant where lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork reign supreme! The restaurant proudly lives in the with so much Chinese ornaments displayed on the mantle along with sporting memorabilia the owners are passionate about and photos of celebrities on the walls. It looks like a restaurant that has lasted the test of time and seen many of generations of poor family members work as waiters or kitchen hands on the weekend. Taking a glance at the clientelle you could see that many are regulars who have also come through the generations. There are many waiters who are in their and mingle and laugh with the regulars and have more...read more"

"All you can eat Tapas for $29! This was the special for the night but a la carte was still available. As we had booked we were offered the first round of house beer or wine for free! The Tapas menu came in the smallest font possible that needs to be fixed because it was simply unreadable. At times, we needed to refer to the main menu to see the description. What was dissapointing was that there were several favourites missing from the Tapas being the garlic prawns, pork belly and the lamb straps.&nbsp;<br> <br> Most of the tapas were cooked well except the meat balls which were a bit dry. The standout dishes were the octypus, the chicken skewers, chicken meatballs with cream sauce and field mushrooms. There potatoes aplenty each round and we got to sample all the variations. The tapas were all reduced portions of the full priced versions which made it tricky to order. Unfortunately, there were no dishes that created any wow factor that I would be drawn back to. I felt short... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"It was a pleasure to come here both for the original soft launch and again after the official grand opening. The menu has changed slightly but the feelings of amazement and satisfaction after each meal remain. Harry now works out of the kitchen, but the menu still very much is his.<br> <br> There's elements of Japanese, a strong presence of Italian and Australian, the quintessential Modern menu of this culinary diverse dining landscape we live in.<br> <br> The VEAL SCALLOPINI is amazing served on garlic mash and surrounded by a mote of beef jus. Just like the SLOW COOKED PORK there’s delicate technique put in to ensure the tenderness in the meat. Both served with green for balance and crunch powerful protein plates in their own right.<br> <br> A newer menu item perfect for brunch is the SMOKED SALMON SALAD. Served with it’s side house mayo it’s perfectly balanced with an equal balance of salad and fish. <br> <br> Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the venue has an advantage over many cafes in the area as it is fully licensed and close enough to the centre of all the Crows Nest action, but far enough from the hustle to escape from work, with the family and your mates.<br> <br> The GRILLED SALMON was beautifully cooked and served on Asian greens and sweet potato mash, drizzled with soy and honey there's just the right amount of sweetness and balance between the potato and honey. Its presentation on the rectangle plate almost like a comet.<br> <br> The GRAIN FED EYE FILLET is a cut about an inch and a half or so thick and so you can appreciate the precision in its medium well success, perfectly seared on the outside with a nice juicy centre! 2 prawns accompany it with asparagus, corn and mushroom gravy and there's a slight play on the surf'n'turf with healthier bits weaved in - loved this. <br> <br> In reminiscing over the old menu, there have been slight changes to the presentation in some dishes, while others, as beautiful as they were (like the SOFT SHELL CRAB OPEN BURGER) are no more, however leave behind a great legacy in today’s menu.<br> <br> The TEMPURA ZUCCHINI FLOWERS stuffed with four cheeses are still there in their grandeur and richness!<br> <br> Always great to see Harry and Kelvin (tho I’m always missing one of you when I drop by!)."

"I was 3 times with my neighbor and the partner, twice that we set ourselves to eat, and the staff is rude and abrupt. The food was very common ... inferior to a Malaysian cuisine. As Malaysian itself, I asked for the beef Murtabak last night after the beef Murstabak. I asked for extra beef (my mother can), but he said that it does not fit. So I just ordered that normal. After shopping, I walked all the house on foot, I opened this so-called "Murtabak" and it was paper thin! Like everything was a small beef seal and no egg, cabbage or onions that it advertises! Even my Anglo-Saxon partner agreed that it was just pastries! So I had to go back all the way to show you that I know you cut corners and know that I'm not just one "eat it" and do not complain. I'm sure the other shops serve much better quality, but if they are nesting in crows, and they try to cut corners, they will soon be pretty away! Just give your manager feedback as ... <a class="wead-more" href="#"> read more </a>"

"This is our favorite place to get nachos with grilled chicken! So good! The guacamole and beans are just acting the deal! For about 12 $ 12 you get a hugeee-serving! Also love the pink lemonade! And frozen Margarita! A bit expensive for $ 10 per glass, but it's worth it! However, did not take care of the Burritos! So we always choose the Nachos! Can not do anything wrong ?????????"

"Went there yesterday and ordered the fish of the day which was $24.00 and was the most expensive item in the menu. Accordingly I had HIGH standards as this cafe had lots of best cafe awards stuck on the door and they had quite a few customers dining. I was quite disappointed at both taste and presentation. Fish was dry and a bit chewy and tasted like it had almost no seasoning (mostly just salty). There was a line of sweet chilli dressing which really didn't work because it was very thin and too sweet so you ended with this weird sweet fish. In the menu it said caramelised onions but there were none and the veggies were just boiled...no seasoning at all. Whilst portion size was good, the potatoe mash was great, staff and service was lovely I was overall dissapointed. I hope the owners read this and make appropriate changes to their dishes as the brunch scene is very popular and competitive! I would hate to see this place go out of business. (Btw it was nice that they swapped my mash for chips)"
