I think some folks are more critical because it doesn?t fall into the category of ?traditional Italian,? which sometimes feels quite oddly American. The options here feel really fresh, and unique. I had the gnocchi this last time, and I enjoyed it much. Although I?m not a fan of green peas, I found the sprouts, mushroom, and pork"

"Years ago this place used to be generally packed so we decided to try it. I had the ribs and my buddy had the brisket. Both meats looked and tasted old . They were both completely dried out and looked and tasted like sorry leftovers from your great aunts birthday party from last weekend. They season the ribs with so much black pepper which I 've never seen before I believe just to cover up the taste of old meat. Their website claims they barbecue every single day they 're open but it seems to me like they only barbecue once a week, for the whole week. And also the place was not very clean. The juice is definitely not worth the squeeze!"

"The impossible burger, and it was super salty and the bungalow was very fat. I felt like I wanted to hack a gallon water after eating. fries was nothing special. the atmosphere is great with sitting outdoors and the staff was very friendly. Maybe they don't order something so salty when they decide to go."

"Twas visiting from Boston for the weekend ordered the Shrimp app Boy w/ Hush Puppies. That shrimp were so big and juicy! They were literally seasoned to perfection. I was really shocked but oh so satisfied! Now, every-time I come to Branford, I’ll have to order. Delicious!"
