"We came here twice in the past three days. Once for tapas and beer and the second for after meal spirits. The staff are welcoming and very helpful and the premises are really clean and bright with rock posters and memorabilia. The range of brilliant tapas €1.50 each is superb. We shared five different tapas; a stew of beans and clams, a spinach, egg and mushroom combination, tomato pisto, sausages in a sauce, and octopus with potatoes. All were generous and absolutely delicious. We drank the Cruzcampo beer, which was the perfect complement to the tapas. All of this, with free picos mini bread sticks for €11.50! Our second visit was for brandy and G&T following a meal in another restaurant. They were well priced at €2.40 for the brandy and €5 for a Rives gin and Royal (something) tonic. Rives makes their gin about 200m from the Rock Bar. Excellent value and again very friendly service. They have live music on a Saturday night and play excellent retro music for suitable ambience at all other times. A great place for excellent tapas and drinks."
