"We've been at this Laguna Blvd. DEL taco many times with no issues, but tonight was different! We ordered from the drive-thru 12 each Taco Tuesday special crispy ground beef tacos, 2 for $6 Del-beef burritos and two Crunchtadas. When we opened up our orderat home we were stiffed for the two burritos and all 12 of the beef tacos were filled with beans not beef! Besides being takenfor the missing burritos, the Tuesday Tacos were overpriced at $1 each instead of the correct price of $0.89 each! All of what Istated above is correct and validated by their own location on-line menu and my printed receipt. Unfortunately, we live too farfrom the store to to back and deal with them. I highly recommend that each customer check their order in detail before acceptingit and leaving the premises, so they too don't get ripped off of over $8.40 total."

"My boyfriend and I came here in New Year's Eve. We wanted something local and different while supporting a small business. We were pleased to not have to wait to get seated. The menu was very interesting, as it had Mexican options, Italian options, and fusion. I tried the Pasta Las Marias (I think that's what it was called) and my boyfriend ordered a chicken mole calzone. My pasta was delicious and was extremely unique...almost like a chicken enchilada with pasta instead of tortilla. At first they brought out a pepperoni and sausage calzone of some type instead of the chicken mole, and since my boyfriend had already taken a bite, they told us to just keep it and brought the correct one also. Both were very good. We ordered chorizo fondida, again AMAZING! Finally, we ordered this banana dessert with a piece of banana nut bread, brown sugar coated friend bananas, and vanilla ice cream and it was to die for!! The service was friendly and decor was awesome!!! The only thing I would say is that my boyfriend's tiny little drink (well whiskey and coke) was $12, which is totally not worth it. I will definitely return! There are so many other things I would like to try from this menu!"

"This is one of our favorite mexican food restaurants in Elk Grove. We always get the guacamole and flour tortilla chips. They have a unique cabbage salsa to that is tasty. They serve it next to there traditional salsa."

"My fiance and I had enjoyed a fantastic glass of wine at Adkins Vineyards prior to our reservation at the Sheldon Inn. As I had not finished my wine the server, Michelle, told us we could walk over to the Inn (owned by the Adkins family) and I could take my glass of wine with me. How kind! At the Inn we were shown promptly to our table and throughout the meal, Ryan, our waiter was always there, constantly but quietly attending to our comfort. We ordered the New England clam chowder which was delicious. Our main course was the prime rib and it was one of the most flavorful, tender pieces of meat I can remember aside from those we would have at home. My father used to age the beef we sold in our store. Today, beef we purchase in groceries lack the flavor and tenderness of well aged beef. The Sheldon Inn must have some source or knowledgeable person who knows where to procure excellent beef. Do order it if it is on the menu! Would I recommend this establishment for a special evening out? Yes, without reservation! For a special dining experience this is definitely the place to come. Our chef, Rebecca, even came out to our table to accept our compliments."

"Every experience I?ve had with this place has been horrible. Horrible experience as I walked in with all the waiters at the register and no greetings or acknowledgement. I waited patiently for someone to say hello how can I help. Finally someone did my order was an online order. It wasn?t even ready and they failed to call me to advise that an item I ordered is no longer on the menu pozole . The only option I had was beef stew. My overall experience was bad plus the food wasn?t tasteful. I wouldn?t recommend this place."

"This was an incredible journey. I really feel like I got to the heart of the dumpling here. Honestly though, the sui mai dumplings, I could have eaten two portions. They were so rich yet balanced and perfectly cooked. Everything we had was amazing including the wonderful service. Shout out to William. Also, I have had plenty of egg tarts, but seriously folks, these are some of the best I?ve ever had. Absolutely fresh and so creamy, the perfect end after a spicy/salty meal. It?s only been a few hours, and I?m already planning my next trip. I hear they?re opening a location in Midtown soon, so definitely keep an eye out for that. Worth the hype! Ya gotta go. ????"
