"My wife and I thought on Thursday, June 2 was a fast (7:45) dinner. This was our second visit at this point and this time we sat in the bar due to the immediate open seats available. Great casual atmosphere and delicious bar plate. The grilled Sonoran swordfish Taco was our favorite. The Brig Classic Calamari Strips are served with a delicious Jalapeño white sauce, which definitely try a?must try?. We'll get back to Escondido during the next visit. Maybe next time we will stay a little longer and enjoy something from the liberation menu."

"Amazing as usual!! So nice and the live music was very good. My lemon drop martini was filled to the rim and delicious. My only suggestion is my wedge salad was a very small portion... my dates was perfect... mine had like leaves of lettuce!"

"All I can say is I really don't want this restaurant to leave again. This place is old school with a lot of family history. There are no fancy backgrounds or fruity distractions. The family is super nice to converse with, no attitude like you have at some of the other Mex places in town. Oh, and the food is outstanding. Lots of homemade recepies of course. My fav items... Thier enchiladas suizas, carne asada soft tacos, shredded chicken burritos, and of course they have excellent rice and beans, a must. They even have ground beef, which I know is not a glorious meat, but I like it! Even thier Iced tea is great, haha. Cristina and Cynthia have always been super pleasant!"

"We got sick from eating here tonight. we have been here regularly since they opened. we loved eating and the atmosphere. To be honest, we go to us every week! but then my man became very sick after he had campechana tonight. I've been through the half of my grilled fish bourritos and started to feel like I'm hurl. the fish burrito was really fat. campechana didn't taste fresh at all and it made my nabenbein really sick on the trip to home. the last couple of paints we have come, the service has worse, waiting times were super long, and eating has not lived until its former glory. really cheated because we loved to support this place. They used to be so good. we never had a problem here and we're just too pleased. they also charge the full price for mocktails. So a campechana, fish burrito and some virgins drinks (full price) for 90 dollars, and then we have sick. that's a no for me."
