"We stopped at the Sterrettania Rd. exit from I-90 west of Erie, PA and stayed at the Comfort Inn, however, their restaurant was not open. We went to the Elk Creek Tavern Restaurant, just a short hop down Sterrettania Rd. from the expressway. Boy, am I glad we did! We had the Pepperoni Balls for an appetizer. They are pepperoni rolled up into a ball of dough and deep fried... Yummm! I had the Pepperoni Hoagie and it was awesome! Their French Fries are extremely good and a consistent golden brown. My Wife had the Elk Creek Burger, which was also excellent! My Daughter had the Carolina Burger and my Grandson had the Philly Cheese Steak, another pair of home runs! My Daughter and Grandson both ordered the Greek Sauce for their French Fries, thinking it on the order of catsup. Turns out it is a Greek inspired meat sauce that they loved! We stopped by on a rather quiet rainy Sunday evening and were one of a handful of patrons. Ron and Janice, the owners, were the crew for the evening and were very welcoming and great to talk with! The Elk Creek Tavern Restaurant may be about 1.3 miles to the south off I-90 at exit 18, but it is well worth the trip!"

"My first time here and really enjoyed it! Good portion sizes, friendly staff, food came out fast. Overall great experience and looking forward to trying more stuff on the menu. "Let start out by saying WOW!!! This place was amazing!! We ordered queso fries and not sure of the exact name but basically a chicken taco pizza. The fries were homemade and pretty sure the queso was as well. We wanted a smaller pizza but due to shipping issues it wasn't available so they gave us a discount on the larger pizza. Most taco pizzas are loaded with way to much lettuce but not this one and again pretty sure the refried beans where homemade. And I did confirm the salsa was homemade and man was it hot but absolutely out of this world AMAZING!!! A must stop to eat place if ever going through this area!!"

"ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! New to the area, I had driven by several times and always see a crowd, today was my day to find out what it was all about. I'd asked the owner to surprise me with one of his favorite menu items. He surprised me with brisket tacos. Melt in your mouth delicious!! Everything so fresh, juice, homemade corn salsa. Best food thus far in Fairview in my opinion."

"THEY ARE NO LONGER CASH ONLY My wife and I have eyed this place for a few weeks. We love the atmosphere, and the food, and the drinks. Stop in for a quick bite, a coffee, or some local brewed kambucha. Of course, CBD is the theme so you can get infused items such as the kambucha or the hemp bread. We tried the Good sandwich and had some kombucha. We will definitely be back for breakfast (before 11am), and will probably be back for some evening food and drink as well. The staff was nice and cheerful, and you can tell they enjoy being there. Great place to relax or meet up with a group. We will be regulars."

"I'm happy to eat here. my favorite is the pollo con queso. I really like the salsa because it is not too hot and has the right amount of cilantro for me. the older I get, the less my mouth can really tolerate hot things I loved earlier. the personal here is always friendly and offers a great service."
