"The wines are very decent but the food is rather disappointing. We ordered different dishes, two soups and one casserole but they were all the very same vegetables swimming in the same thick sauce that tasted industrial. Really, canteen food can be better than that."

"We were here on a Friday night, as we randomly ran past the restaurant and made us curious about the cozy work ambience from the outside. It was a completely successful evening: interesting menu, good food, delicate meat, beautiful furnishings incl. Lehmofen... I cannot confirm the various comments made by my previous speakers regarding small portion sizes. Incl. appetizer (as a must, because very tasty! I had to fight as a good eater at the end. In my opinion, price performance is perfect."

"We were here on a Friday to dinner. the facility has not changed to the previous owner. we were kindly welcomed and the service was also courteous. we ordered a mixed appetizer for 2 people. tastefully, she has very much liked us, unfortunately she consisted only of 5 different pasties. no peperoni and olives were very good. we had to wait very long for the main foods, even though only 1 was occupied. we ordered imam bayildi and lamming pot with beans. that both should be baked in a loam oven were the dishes relatiw cold. the aubergine des imam was unfortunately still almost raw and much too fat. the rest was a wild mix of chop meat and potatoes, baked with 3 cheeses (feta, mozarella and a non-defining one). the lamb pot was quite delicious. but it was almost just boring. the rest were approx. 6 -8 small pieces of meat and a potato. We didn't order the dessert. the price is o.k. who has already eaten well in Greece or on the islands will not really find it well. we will not go back there."

"We were kindly received and we were offered a lens soup (vegan) on the house. The owner was attentive and looked at my allergies. Food is cooked by his wife. After the time of Corona, few visitors were in the restaurant, the quiet atmosphere was right. Have eaten alicha (sweet like potato/potato/paprika/bean in tomato sauce with rice). "On the way home from the Saarland we have again in Göttingen Station the relationship on the way can be quite beautiful... . Hotel Rennschuh with the Gasthaus Rennschuh, which I still knew as an “iron pan”, is located in the throw distance from the highway and are therefore ideal for a stopover. After we took our room and packed out the most important utensils, we went down again. At the reception we learned that despite the rainy weather, the way over the farm would not be saved. But we could shorten and enter the inn from behind. When we reached the kitchen entrance, we were kindly greeted by a waiter, guided into the three-quarter restaurant and discreetly accompanied to a free table. It will have been the same employee, because already Mrs Kiwikatze mentioned in her assessment, the humorous comments came here. We hardly had room when he had the menus and asked for our drinks. The drinks ordered were then served in a very short time. Also later in the course of our stay he was always attentive and friendly and explained the change from the Eisenpfanne to the Gasthaus Rennschuh “I could rebuild in four weeks...” A younger colleague who almost exclusively brought the food to the tables was just as friendly but somewhat less communicative. We felt very comfortable here. Food The restaurant serves German cuisine at reasonable prices, the menu can be found on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] After brief consideration, Madame ordered “Cordon Bleu, plus Pommes Frites and Salat” €11.90. I chose the “Holsteiner Schnitzel with fried egg, bacon, green beans and roast potatoes” (11.90 €). As a drink we chose a Bardolino Rose 0.2l for € 3.60 . The wine was served shortly afterwards and proved to be good tempting and tasty. Salad for Madame was served in advance and consisted of white wort, cucumber slices, tomatoes, corn grains, carrots and leaf salad, with a light yogurt dressing. A little later, the plates were brought with the main dishes. The Cordon Bleu with French fries saw a bit lost on the plate, just decorated with a few lemon slices and a bouquet of parsley. The frits were hot and crispy, the meat tender and qualitatively perfect as usual I had to take care of the rest of their part. The Holsteiner Schnitzel was, even if the writing had the impression of the plate of her partner, not too fat, but for my feeling exactly right fat is finally a flavor carrier. The meat was also very good, tender and juicy. Of course, the breakdown had absorbed a quantum fat, but it did not smell fat, as little as the roast potatoes. The bacon disc as a tasteful counterpart to the beans was also ok, for me there was nothing to migrate about this food, it was deculent, rustic and simply delicious. Ambiente The restaurant is located in a newly built building a little closer to the street than the hotel. As far as the interior is concerned, I refer to the detailed previous review. The red-brown, square floor tiles were laid diagonally, and there were furniture with dark wooden frames. The chairs were covered with dark brown artificial leather, on the bottom plates of the tables lay sets of brown croco leather imitation, the seats were partly covered with napkins, cutlery and appetizer plates. There was also a flower on each table in a metal vase, a tealight in a glass lamp and a pepper mill with integrated salt shaker. Cleanliness The dining room was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. We haven't visited the toilets."

"We were here this afternoon (at 4:00 p.m. because we wanted to try for a while and we were hungry. That was also good because it was reserved for the evening (at the cut of 7 p.m. all tables were already reserved. We took place in the rear part, as it does not smell so much after the just prepared popcorn (we personally find this belongs to the cinema, not here . The staff was very attentive today and we quickly got the cards. (Where I find the operators should do without perfume, it was penetrant . The map is unfavorable and unclear at first glance (here you should change the concept. We finally decided on a point tak (400g with pommes, a rib eye (400g with avocadofries and salsa, spy beans with garlic and a burrito with beef and shrimp. Waiting time was completely okay. Serves rustic on wood panels and in wooden bowls, designed with parchment paper. At first glance I found the steaks quite small and had expected something else, but my men found them well. The Rib Eye was medium and fell on the tongue after the food. The Pointsteak (medium, served in two pieces, was somewhat firmer but lt. Eat well. A freezing jus and a raw vegetables with dip and bread were served. The avocadories were very delicious, the salsa at the top sharp (ok, me and the man exactly right; the beans were beautifully roasted with delicious knofi (was mine. The burrito was divided into two halves and rather lukewarm, therefore also edible. In half I ate first, the shrimp was very dominant and lacked in taste. Since I took the second half home and then later heated again and then rolled up (only so out of curiosity; then I found the beef. The small pieces were very delicate and tasty and also the vegetables with the rest in it (cheese, guacamole was quite harmonic (slicker than in the local). Our conclusion is: Another visit is planned. Also in the afternoon or evening with reservation. And: The men then attack the 1 kg Tomahawk. Personally, then I was a bit afraid of the steak prices and what on the plate after preparation for it, but if the quality is right. It's a pity that there are no poultry steaks or Spareribs. Oh, and if you have something to say (as we do with the Pommes, it is actually passed on by the service! Top. I would be forgiven here, but unfortunately there is not here, so satisfied. For a very good time, maybe next time...."

"The Poseidon is a very popular, always well visited Greek. The owner is very warm and treats every guest as if he were something very special. For dinner we like to order the roasted Peperoni on the way. My friend basically eats gros in pepper cream sauce, which he tastes very good. Unfortunately, I had to reorientate myself more often because there is no great choice for vegetarian dishes. I like to eat the noodles in Metaxasauce with cheese taken from the map. The eggplant pan was a little too mad for me personally. However, there are also artichokes in tomato sauce with cheese somewhat too sour baked but tasty) and baked thick white beans that I do not drink The food comes very fast, the Peperoni often before the drinks. Unfortunately, it has happened more often lately that I got stomach problems after eating in Poseidon, which is why I can't eat there anymore."
