"A little island of Europe at Silver Lake, an excellent restaurant. Clean, nice interior with double-tableclothed tables, examples of Portuguese tiles, attentive, experienced and polite waiters. Within minutes you feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere. You always get something extra, a bit of a nice surprise: extra side of rice and bean; grapes on ice after your meal; they bring out the irresistible choice of desserts on a plate to your table for you to choose, and then add extra fruit to what you order. The food is excellent! My favorite is the mahi mahi with shrimp sauce. This place can unwind you after a stressful week on a Friday evening; and is big enough for events, wedding dinners."

"We stopped in for lunch and was surprised by the short wait time. My wife had the chicken taco salad, and I had the tamales with rice and beans. This meal was the best we have had in a while. The chips and salsa are the best you could ever have. The staff are friendly and never leave you hanging for more drinks or chips and salsa."

"The most consistently, perfectly prepared prime rib, ever. I think I've become addicted to the prime rib here on Wednesdays. The lobster on Tuesdays is outstanding too. Bill sure knows how to run a restaurant. Everything about this place is on point. Don't miss it."

"Seafood paella: Half lobster not full), 1 crab claw, rice is extremely salty, Lots of food in the dish can portion for several days) Surf and turf: No taste in lobster and meat. Do not recommend. "If it's a nice day the other two Restaurants ( Sasquatch Inn & Rowena's ) in this area are likely going to be packed...try this little out of the way gem.The fare is simple: soup, sandwiches and desserts, ice cream. No liquor licence so the bikers tend to avoid it. Served up by volunteers.Pleasant dining room and garden out the back where you can relax. Take a tour of the Museum - see a few farm animals."
