"This is a must if you're in the Vedado area of Havana. I'm vegetarian but my husband isn't and we both agreed this was awesome. There are a number of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu I recommend the pesto pasta which is great and the black beans are really good too. Also, you have to try the chocolate brownie simply the best I've ever had!"

"I was here for a change of events. the menu is mainly veggie, but they are happy to recommend what can be made vegan. I found it a little bland, but I only had a court of auberginenkur. at the time the variety and some vegan was very welcome, but not so impressive overall. I also found it very expensive, also by Cuban tourist standards."

"We stumbled upon this place within our first hour in Havana. We had not done any research before we left for Cuba and assumed we’d be eating nothing but rice during our stay. At first we were just happy to get out of the sudden rainstorm but we were so thrilled by the tasty VEGAN fare and amazing service that we ate here EVERY DAY!!! The staff was incredibly informative and happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We would highly recommend the black bean and veggie stew, veggie tacos, veggie sandwich, and the tostones! I miss the food and the friends we made there."

"The atmosphere and music is good. the employees are helpful and look forward to it. both of them I went, no vegan food was available. in anbetracht covid has influenced the tourism numbers and the food shortage in the country, this is understandable, so I do not want to give a negative review because of it. the smoothies 8 cdn) and coffee 3 cdn) are the best in Cuba. they also have many vegetarian options with iron and cheese. as a vegan is not an option. they offered to make toast and veggies, but that would not be worth the $15 Canadian it would cost with the current exchange rate."

"As I was stumbling around Old Havana, I spotted a tiny little window with Japanese lettering and a few ladies inside preparing meals. My impulse thought this was a simple take-out restaurant, but to my surprise, I was greeted with a friendly face and proceeded to explain what I wanted. Being a raw vegan due to health complications, I ordered a full plate of raw veggies, and in short order, it was prepared quickly, and with a friendly smile. I went back again the day after and was treated with generosity. Sayuri, who runs this shop, is caring and loving. She will go out of her way to prepare an incredible meal, and I was treated as if she wanted to feed me for free when she only asked for under a dollar for a plate of fresh veggies. She asked me about my health situation and catered to prepare a fully raw plate to my liking, even going out of her way asking me if certain ingredients were okay. In short, I felt like I was eating at home, and Sayuri was preparing me a lovingly custom tailored meal to my request. This is an amazing place to go, as I cannot remark on the quality of their cooked food, just for the service and hospitality. I will be back!"
