"Our sailboat is on the hard at Marina Guaymas so we ended up at Mr. Frog's, which is pretty close. The people were very friendly at this family-run place. We had excellent huevos rancheros. (They served it with a side of frijoles, which is always a plus for me.) They brewed me some coffee, and made my husband lemonade. The coffee was ok and the lemonade was exceptionally good, even for Mexico where good lemonade is a given. They specialize in seafood (yum) so we will try to go back for lunch soon."

"What a treat to have a few tacos in a nice restaurant, say hello to the locals and enjoy some live music....all for a few mice. Literally! You also have a really nice menu... but the dollar tacos are a wonderful treat! Last...We had 5 tacos, 2 beers and a large mineral water (Topo,Chico), and with the top, it was just over $10!!!"

"Finally made it ... have heard about this restaurant for years.It is steak/steak and steak so do not go here if that is not of interest.They have several choices of cuts and a couple of mixed platters. Your choice of cut comes with a baked potato and grilled green onions and jalapeno pepper. The salad bar is very basic....none of the 6 of us opted for that. All couples ordered the rib eye steak and was big enough that we all shared. It was cooked to our specifications and was a very tasty piece of meat. We also had the option to bring in our own bottle of wine.Ambiance again .. all about 'game' and the 'wild West'.....several heads and fully stuffed animals on the wall....lighting could have been a bit dimmer.Service was very attentive.If you are in the mood for a very good piece of meat....would recommend."
