"This place remains my favorite place in town for the quality of vegan food and excellence of service. The new location on Pioneer Ave is also beautiful with decorations and comfortable seating. I love soups, vegetable dishes with brown rice, noodles and curries. It is so easy to ask and be sure about vegan order. Updated by previous review on Tuesday, 05. "Best coffee in Homer. Located in a cozy cabin on the Spit with friendly staff. Oat milk and soy milk available, bagels with hummus, locally made vegan muffins as well."

"We loved this sweet place! The coffee and breakfast foods were all excellent, plus we felt like we were among locals rather than in another touristy spot. Just like with many other places in Alaska, they seem to be short staffed so it took a while to be able to place receive our order but it was worth it and we were in vacation mode anyways. Definitely recommend."

"Another excellent meal at Bob's BBQ! Don't wait. Nice service. Great food. We have a brisket plate, a pulled pork plate and a pork rib plate. The salt potatoes are a must, like the corn on the Cob. Her cornea was excellent. Family-friendly, park-like atmosphere. A local favorite."

"It's a great location on the Homer Spit. You'll have to look hard to find it because their sign is hidden behind foliage. The log cabin contributed to my experience. The crew was very willing to talk about the history of their shops name. I had a London Fog tea latte. They asked if I wanted the tea to steep. It took a little longer to make, but I appreciated the care taken for my drink."

"Let me start off by saying that I’m a native Texan who lives here in Alaska now. Complimenting an Okie on their BBQ just isn’t something I expected to ever do, but here we are. I got the 3-meat plate with Ribs, Brisket, sausage, and then a double side of beans, a roll, and a coke to drink. All of that cost me $24. That’s not expensive for BBQ, especially good BBQ. The first thing I ate were the ribs, and I’m upset about that because they were hands down the best part of the meal. The ribs were cooked to perfection. Fall off the bone. Even the fat was melt in your mouth which I’ve never had happen to me with ribs. Next I had some of the sausage. It was definitely good, but not top 5 of all time for me. I personally prefer some Cajun in my sausage, but don’t let this part deter you from the sausage, because you won’t get anything this good here in Alaska. I ate the roll next, and while I would prefer cornbread, because well, I love cornbread, this dinner roll was great. Next was the brisket. I’d say top 10 brisket I’ve ever had. The smoke on it was fantastic, the flavor was again nothing like you’d ever get here in Alaska. Last was the beans, they were made with either some brisket or pork mixed in, which gave it great smoke flavor, and I’m glad I got double beans because it was well worth it. I WILL be back here many more times, and I do believe that the price for the food is too low. At least what I’m used to down in Texas, this food was well worth the price I paid. Sometime I’ll try the pork, bologna, and the chicken, but I think next time I’ll just get a half rack of ribs."
