"Solid coffee shop with plenty of whole bean options. They also have an ample selection of brew hardware. The seating is refreshing, open, and with variety. They have traditional espresso and milk options as well as V60, chemex, and aero press for order. I didn’t try the food but it looks pretty good. I plan on coming back!"

"This place makes fantastic Ramen. It's on most occassions absolutely delicious and comforting. On one or two occassions the broth has been a little salty. The noodles are made in house and are great, meat and veg toppings are always fresh."

"This friendly cafe with a small shop is a good place to grab a raw juice, freshly frozen (not dried/powdered) spirulina slushie, along with a decent series of vegan smoothies, wraps, burgers, bowls, pizzas, etc... There is also a daily lunch buffet that usually has some good food. Just make sure what you order as some items contain eggs, milk and/or honey. The camp site has vegan cheese and yogurt; water kefir and combucha; vegan meat products; dried fruit nuts, seeds, grains and beans; freshly frozen spirulina and even Natto (traditional Japanese fermented whole soybean); among others."

"Visiting Kolonaki Greek Kouzina in Parkhurst, Randburg, is like taking a mini trip to Greece without leaving Johannesburg. The menu is a mix of modern and traditional Greek dishes, and each item we ordered had its own unique flavor. The tiger kataifi was a crispy delight, and the beetroot hummus was a refreshing change with its earthy taste. The hummus, tahini lamb were rich and savory, while the grilled bifteiki was tender and well seasoned. Now, onto the pork belly it was cooked to perfection, tender with a nice crunch on the outside. The roasted cauliflower was a pleasant surprise, light yet flavorful, and the Greek salad was fresh, with each ingredient shining through. The service was exceptional. It was one of those places where the staff just knows when to come around. I barely reached for the water bottle when a waiter appeared, ready to pour it for me. It’s the small gestures like this that really elevate the dining experience. Kolonaki has a relaxed, friendly vibe which makes it a great spot for a casual dinner or a gathering with friends. The staff is attentive, the ambiance is comfortable, and the food is delicious. It’s a place where good food meets good service in a cozy, welcoming setting."
