"Tough call. Love that they have vegan options. But it’s daiya cheese, so that’s a shame. And I can’t see paying $4 for a sprinkle of a not so reputable vegan cheese company."

"I haven’t been here since it became DiFranco’s. We went for Mother’s Day and sadly was not impressed. Food was pretty good and value for pricing, portions were generous and a large menu. But the Wait staff is lacking basic food handling procedures and etiquette. It appears to be run by all family. Thumbs in dishes when serving dinner to guests, chipped plates that allows bacteria to get into serving ware, when I asked them to wrap my pizza she took another diners plate and put it on top of my pizza and walked off to wrap it : I ran restaurants for a living that made me cringe. Bottom of dishes are dirty , handles by many hands places on many surfaces bottom of a plate should never touch food servers need to keep their thumbs out of dishes/plates when carrying food. The restroom were very dirty too. Won’t go back."

"Hands down one of the best bakeries in CT (and perhaps in the Tri-State area). Such a hidden gem hidden under a restaurant right in the centre of Litchfield. We just stumbled on them because they sample cookies in one of the shops on the green (so smart! We started with cookies, cakes and bread. All right. This weekend I needed a birthday cake. Thank God they had a few on Saturday morning. I took a 6-inch villa. The butter cream was excellent. The cake so moist. Not too sweet. Four perfect layers. Lightly lined 6 people with larger discs (excellent value). Can't wait to order a custom cake next. All our guests loved dessert and we agreed!"
