"In a city where gluten free is hard to come by this cafe is a gem in the crown Everything served is gluten free which for guests like myself takes the trauma out of scanning the menu to decide what you can/can’t have. Sandwiches, soups and a hot snack choice all come conveniently wrapped which beans you can eat in with fellow guests or can just take away. Drinks also include health juices to gluten free beer. The staff are very efficient and really helpful, and they even have pre-packed goodies like dried pasta or biscuits that I would struggle to locate in the UK If your in France and are gluten free this is definitely the place for you"

"If I were to form a Monday night club, where friends and visitors would socialize and enjoy excellent food, this would be my recommended permanent venue.The food is consistently excellent, the service first class, and the ambiance very amenable.I chose the set menu "la Mere": artichoke heart with foie gras to start, quenelle in crayfish sauce for main course, and St Marcellin cheese to finish. My wife chose the salad lyonnaise: it is the best we have found anywhere.It was an excellent Monday night dinner in Presqu'ile."

"My boyfriend and I had lunch on Les Apothicaires and it was the perfect end to a gastronomy holiday. The food was amazingly delicious, with notes of Asia (Chinese themed week in Lyon), French cuisine and a Nordic influence. The waiters were extremely service minded, smiling and creators of a warming atmosphere. We gave them free hands to choose wine fitting our food and they served two beautiful white wines. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect lunch experience and will definitely recommend Les Apothicaires to anyone traveling to Lyon."
