"We went to have dinner with high expectations after receiving rave reviews from a couple of foodie friends, and we were duly impressed with the quality of the service and the wine and food pairings. We started out with the extraordinary salmorejo de maiz and yellow tomato with a delicious and curious white wine from the Palomino grape from Cadiz. Excellent start! Next up were 2 tacos with perfectly grilled squid served over a Peruvian red pepper sauce that was lightly spicy and citrusy. We stuck with the white wine from Cadiz. At this point, we started to see the subtle flaire the chef has to create well-balanced dishes. Then we moved to the red wine and food pairings, which were as equally impressive: Lentil stew served with duck breast from Asturias and then succulent roast beef from the small village of Tudanca in Cantabria paired with a small production Rioja and then a light, refreshing ecological wine served chilled. In the end, we ordered 7 plates plus the lemon/lime cake and 7 glasses of wine and the total was 79 euros. I can't wait to go back in the fall to see what they have in store for us. I strongly recommend that you let the waiter/owner guide you through the wine and food pairings for a highly enjoyable culinary experience."

"In my opinion Madrid is rapidly becoming one if the great craft beer bar destinations in Europe,so many great craft beer bars producing and serving innovative and quality brews and Craft Against The Machine is a bar I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this most beautiful of cities. I love the look of this bar,a cool looking serving bar, multi roomed, cosy and plenty of seating options spread throughout this craft beer bar, it 's a great place to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Wednesday evening, bar was just starting to get busy with a great atmosphere, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, after a quick study of the beers on offer my brother went for Dougall 's Brewery 942 while I opted to have Arriaca Cervezas session ipa both these beers were served in excellent condition and accompanied with a bar snack which consisted of butter beans which was unusual but very tasty and went with our beers surprisingly good. My beer was outstanding, a really good ipa,hoppy but not over hopped, rich and full bodied ,bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy, my twin brother Stephen also gave the thumbs up to his beer. This is one seriously popular bar not just with tourists such as myself but with locals but with beers this good hardly surprising that its such a popular bar. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as we were pub and bar hopping around this part of town as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Craft Against The Machine is easy to locate along Calle Embajadoras in an area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday,Closed. Tuesday to Saturday, Midday till Midnight. Sunday, Midday till 6pm. A wonderful craft beer bar, well worth checking out if your in the area."
