"We had an amazing dinner here on a Sunday evening. They were pretty busy around 6PM, but we were able to get a table without a wait. The door is around the back/side of the building when looking from the street. We parked behind the building in a small, public lot, but there is a ton of parking in the area. Our server was friendly and welcoming. She was enthusiastic about the food and offered to explain menu items or answer any questions since we hadn't been here before. We started with beverages and an order of papas rellenos. My mojito was refreshing and wonderful with loads of fresh mint. The papas rellenos were beautifully seasoned and crisp on the outside. We all ordered mofongo for our entrees. I had the shrimp with Carribean sauce. Oh, wow, this was delicious and probably could have fed 2 people, particularly if you order appetizers and want dessert. I kept eating because it was so delicious, but still had leftovers for lunch the next day. The shrimp were plentiful and cooked perfectly. The plantain dome was delicious and the sauce was amazing. I am thinking about it again as I'm writing this almost 2 weeks later and am cursing the fact that I live 9 hours away....must plan another vacation soon.... Seriously, this is the best Puerto Rican food we've had since our trip there, and I'd argue the mofongo was better than what we had in Puerto Rico because this was just sooooo good. Do not miss this spot if you're visiting the finger lakes area!"
