"Great. Im picky. Ex-barrista. Ex Seattle-ite. GF except for my 1 a year choco. Croissant. Excellent combo or pastry, authentic choc. Oaxaceño calient and a cup of slow filtered cup brew. Perfectly small, unpretentious, and friendly. Good lighting for book reading (a selection to choose from in house as well. Its not trying too hard. I look specifically for these types of places to take a break from my travel hubby. Must come if you'd like to try a handful or coffe/hot chocolate places during your trip. Coffee not bitter. They have OAT milk! Salud!"

"Here, on recommendation of my host, for a comida corrida near the house. a comida corrida is a light, multi-course meal served on the afternoon. it can or may not be a choice. Typically there is a drink with refilling, suppe, main course, dessert. an appetizer. they are cheap. when I spent the summer of 2007 in oaxaca in a working class neighborhood. I ate many comida corrida. the prices were 25 35 pesos. in the tourist areas they would be higher, sometimes 80 pesos. mama! elena is in a popular opposite near the cathedrale, but the price was only 50 pesos. I ate here twice. once it was late and I got the tacos dorados. they were good. the second time was for the comida corrida. the suppe was okay. the fish is perfectly cooked. salate completely fresh. the banane with yogurt and granola? a very refreshing end of the meal. service was fast and friendly. an excellent deal. 4 because there is simply an upper limit on comidas corridas. at least in my experience. Notes: 1 the entrance is actually on calle de m bravo and is very easy to miss because ... 2 this is a true hole in the wall with few tables. if an open seat is present on a table, they can take it. I saw that."

"We stopped to breakfast and the food and service was amazing. we ordered the chilequiles and entomatadas, and both were great, but the chilequiles really bleeded us away. we also have a plate of obstinate that tasted so fresh. highly recommended!"

"Talking about coffee very well done guys, you know what you are selling but talking about service you totally sucks, you delivery every coffee in different time when we ordered 3 different coffe and the last one my friends finished their coffee and mine arrived....And you weren’t busy. And they changed the presentational V60 for mine. You really need to work on service but your coffee is amazing by itself."
