"I ordered a soft drink, iced tea with lemonade. The price was around $6 which is pretty steep! During my meal the server came to ask if anything was needed. I asked for a refill of water and my soft drink. Now, as old as I am, I have not had to pay for a refill since restaurants began to give unlimited refills back in the 80's. Iced tea has always been refillable. Our server told me that my water was refillable but not my iced tea. What?!! For the ridiculous price I was charged and no refills, no way. It's a shame because the food is great, but we won't be back."

"My husband and I came for my birthday and the food was amazing!!!!!!!!! I had the fried calamari that also came with fried mushroom, fried jumbo shrimp and fried green beans with a pesto spread. SOO GOOD. We also got a side of meatballs which is worth it. Entrees were: chicken Parmesan and the lasagna bolognese. Delicious! They gave us the famous coconut cake. It was moist and delicious. Servers were great! 5/5"

"I went to 1810 Restaurant based on a suggestion from a friend I am so glad I went. I went with my boyfriend for Valentine’s day dinner it wasn’t super crowded but I am glad I made a reservation. The ambiance was really pretty, super friendly helpful staff. Clean restaurant a lot of drink dinner options. The food was flavorful a nice portion size. The wine pairing was even better. We both enjoyed ourselves as it was our first valentine’s day together the restaurant made it feel special. We will definitely be back for date night"

I have orange grove blvd dograds driven by times and never knew that mendez restaurant was there until today, it was a hot day and I was thirsty, so I looked super liquor and decided to take some water, which I find in this liquor store hidden in a rear corner. mendez restaurant. restaurant might be a stretch, they have two tables and a few chairs, but a quite decent menu including barbacoa de borrego! I ordered food. tacos 2.25 asada nice lean and delicate bark, but lacked in taste, it was most likely cooked on a flat top grill and not well seasoned, mais tortillas fresh but from a pocket. 3 stars al pastor another taco that was simply ok, not bad just not the bold taste they should have with al pastor. 3.5 stars torta barbacoa de borrego 9.00 look at the size of this telera roll, not only is it big, it is soft and fresh, filled with much barbacoa de borrego lamb beans, lettuce, tomaten, jalapenos fantastic torta. 5 stars"
