"Food was excellent,fresh and friendly staff, i know the boss s makes it a personal touch but my feedback is independent and not in any favour Contrary to the other Chesters which has poor hygiene and poor attitude staff, Ribbleton lane chesters is on another...level As always even when you order the staff make certain foods fresh so its enjoyable every bite. "I love a proper English breakfast, and there's nowhere else in Preston that does a vegan one. So I was delighted to find a review on here and thought I'd check it out for myself! It's down a lovely side street full of local businesses (many of which are worth a visit Tables and chairs outside for sunny days, today was not one of those days so we found a table with comfy armchairs next to the window and grabbed some cushions to make ourselves comfy ^ Lots of drinks on offer while you wait from herbal teas to smoothies and iced tea, and normal teas and coffees with lots of delicious sounding syrups to choose from! I went for a large Vegan breakfast but swapped out the mushrooms and tomatoes for a bit more of everything else (hash browns, beans, LM sausages). I had a choice of bread for my toast, I chose granary which was fresh and in super thick slices with a pot of butter (which I was told is vegan). My partner went for a hash brown buttie with white, and had pretty much wolfed it down by the time mine arrived! (Thumbs up from him) Couldn't have asked for more really, however the lady said she will be getting more in since she's getting more and more vegan customers :D So we are making a difference! Decorated in a fresh yet cozy way with happy staff and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going back"

"Placed an order for as I have min lunch brake got there and it was't ready although We called in advance!!!!! There's a reason why they are called Monkeys and that's because they are true Monkeys behind the counter!!!!! Never again!!!!! No...customer services what so ever.........no sorry no f... off!!!! "If you 're a band and asked to play this place and travel quite some distance, I wouldn 't bother our set was delayed until nearly 11pm while they invited some random kid not on the bill to do 'kareoke ' with guitar on the stage, and the place emptied."

"I brought my elderly mother for breakfast today.The cafe was 1/4 full and plenty of staff were around. I ordered immediately and the lattes came quickly and were nice and hot. Mums bacon barm looked nice but the bacon inside was hard and cold. my toastie was pityful.. it looked pale and the bread was limp not like the toasties ive had there before. The bacon was barely cooked and I would go as far as to say in some parts it was raw. the egg was cooked ok. I would have complained at the time but the only staff member in sight by then was busy making a fuss of a dog and I had to get mum to an appointment. It is a shame the standards seem to be slipping in this popular eating establishment."

"I do not recommend this place for afternoon. bad value for money. strange fillings like smoked salmon sandwiches and cast rolls with black pudding. worse was that they gave the same to the children. they wouldn't eat and had only a small cake. they also tried to say, although we had tea or coffee, no drink for the children without additional payment. they gave them a drink after we complained. it ruined Mother's Day for us. the venue has refunded the price of the children some days later, as we were so unhappy"

"Just stayed for the one night .Staff very pleasant and helpful. Quality of the breakfast is what you pay for but there was plently of choice and you could eat as much as you could.Rooms very clean and spacious .Drinks a bit pricey though ,but it was handy having the pub right next door ."

"I recently caught a bus to preston bus station to catch a bus and wanted to eat something while I wait. I found the bus station café where I experienced great food to reasonable trips, friendly service from the staff and a good...standard of cleanliness. it was also convenient for me to pay with the card. I would not hesitate to recommend this caffe to anyone who picked up a bus to or from preston."
