"We were a group of 14 when they began to bring the food we were appalled in the amount, 2 small bowls suppe, which only fed 8 people and when we complained, they said we could ask for repetitions, but as it repeated. if the half of the group got nothing in the first round. every element they have brought out was the same story. a plate of super thin slices was brought (I remember that we were 14) there were 9 slices of ham when they were asked after the repetition, they brought 4 more slices, so that not even in the second round everyone was in the position, any. it was so frustrating constantly asked to bring more food that they felt as if they were begged after they paid 38.00$ per person. I will not even go into details for the quality, it was terrible if they actually get something on their teller. all child activities included in other places such as car rides or fodder were connected for an 8-minute drive with a price of $6.00 per person. terrible and worst experience from a cabane à sucre. do not go there because the entrepreneurs should not go away with robbing men especially after 2 years pandemic."

"As a tourist in Quebec, you are probably going to see a lot of the Belle Province restaurants. This is a local fast food chain specializing in the local food like poutine and mostly known for heavy and greasy meals. The one I visited in St Anne Des Plaines is not very different and I happen to be passing by the area and stopped at this place while waiting for my wife to finish an appointment close by. I went there for to grab a coffee and kill time and I can say it was a very pleasant visit but if you are not from around you are sure to come out as the obvious intruder. The restaurant is a dinner and decorated like one. It is actually spacious with plenty of tables with chairs and benches. The kitchen area is on the left side of the entrance and occupies a large spot with the cashier in the center of the restaurant. I happened to grab a table by the window overlooking the main road on which the restaurant sits. Be mindful that the town where the restaurant is located is very small and even if you are seated by the window, there is literately nothing to see other than passing cars.As for food, it was actually very nice. I visited on a morning so I ordered coffee and an omelette with a side of beans. I have to say that the coffee was really nice and the food was not even though you can feel the grease in it. So if you are into healthy meals, that is probably not the best place for you.The service was very average. I was a little surprised to see how popular the place is at this hour of the day, yet only one waitress to serve everybody. So don't expect much, and you probably need to raise your hand or call on her a couple of time to catch her attention. Also, you will automatically notice that most of the customers are locals from the area and you kind of get intimidated by some of the looks you get. People notice that you are a foreigner but you don't have much to be concerned about as Quebecers are really nice people even to strangers.Honestly, I highly doubt that anyone would be specifically visiting this restaurant. It is definitely not a place for tourists or even for locals unless you live in the area or you happen to be passing by (like it was my case). ***Please like this review if you find it helpful.
