"Beautiful atmospehere. Location amazing. The food is delicious, although there are not si many options. The staff is really polite and friendly, the service quick. Prices are moderately high. I recommend the salad with grilled goat cheese and the duck steak and the hummus appetizer....The rose limonade is also delicious!"

"Every time we visit Sibiu, we make sure to visit Crama Ileana for a good, hearty meal of traditional Transylvanian cuisine. Frankly, it would be well worth it for either the great food or the beautiful decor but for both? It would be a shame...not to go there and to risk paying more for less somewhere else! This time, my partner had the ciorba de burte (tripe soup) with a side of sour creme and fresh farmhouse bread. This was followed by de-boned chicken breasts, tenderized after ordering (we could hear them battering away in the kitchen) and grilled on the charcoal grill, served with chips with melted cheese, salad and pickled cucumbers. I had a delicious vegetable soup made with cabbage, green beans, peas, potatoes, carrots, onions, tomatoes and lots of parsley, eaten together with more fresh bread. My main dish was a iahnie de fasole (a very filling bean stew with tomatoes, onions, red peppers, carrots, garlic, paprika, thyme and bay leaves), boiled potatoes with fried onions and a delicious varza calita (cabbage fried with onions, black pepper, bay leaves, thyme and paprika). The service was very good -fast, attentive and very professional. The atmosphere was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable indeed for such good food in such a lovely destination location. "This place has about 30 types of coffee from different countries, including kopi luwak. All the coffee is roasted there and the owner can tell you a lot about coffee because he is very passionate about it. Totally recommend this place!"

"We went mainly for cakes, so I can't speak for ice selection. The cakes are relatively small for their price, especially for Romania. It must be on the most beautiful street of the city because of the location of the shop that probably has a high rent. I look forward to tasting the Opéra, but they only had the Opéra Mousse, who, although well done, still lacked compared to the classic dessert. The Pistachio éclair was fine, and also the melony-mousse cake Yogo-Melon. Coppa Tiramisu had a hint of black pepper. I don't know if this came out of the coffee beans, but it was a bit surprising, not necessarily unpleasant, but still a bit strange, and no lady finger in this cup version would have added the texture. The best we had was a piece of Tort Pralinatta, especially because of the good mix of texture and aromas. I can say that these cakes were made with skill, but I think there is room for improvement."

"The service was good but the food not so much. We've had a dry, tasteless fish, fried to a brownish colour and no sauce to go with it. Also, the potatos were the frozen sort... for the price we paid they should have been fresh potatos. Better try another place if you're hungry."
