"I just went in there tonight and they are out of chips.... No biggie, but just the way the manager instructed his staff to tell customers like I couldn't hear him and then to hear his staff member repeat it, in my opinion was just cold; not rude by any means. I get it when you are busy and things are crazy and not going your way at that time; but still take care of your customers; especially ones that are there atleast once if not twice a week. We will still go back but just wanted to let y'all know how I felt I was treated tonight......never had this happen before till tonight, usually amazing staff members I have always encountered there. Tonight was off and not happy and maybe they can learn from this review. Update.....since this post things have been amazing EVERY time we walk in eat here! My kids love seeing the same employees and our whole family agrees compared to other Freebirds in this town....this place has better tasting food and more flavorful! Thank you for always taking good care of our family!"

"I have been taking my students and mentees here for one on one lunches, at least once per week, if not twice, since the start of semester. And I wanted to like it I really did because it 's convenient, fast service and somewhat healthy... but my experience today was awful. So then I thought, why am I doing this??? Today I ordered the lemon grass pork vermicelli bowl, and the chunks of pork ? , we 're ALL FAT! And because last week I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was also less than satisfactory...noodles in ketchup sauce with absolutely no resemblance to the amazing Thai dish but I settled and said nothing , today I decided to complain.Well... they looked at me, when I complained, like... how dare she! And then I had to wait for a manager to acknowledge my complaint and request for something else... and then 20 minutes later, when my student had finished their meal, my replacement meal arrived. It was chicken pho.So tell me... what other pho soup place do you know that serves, sliced chicken luncheon meat as a chicken in pho soup? Enough!I will take my $34 per visit somewhere else! Thanks but no thanks."

"First visit a recent weekday evening. Surprised to be told that all tables were reserved, however fortunately it was a nice evening, and we were shown to a booth on the patio. Service was good - I thought; however after we left, we realized we had never been told about specials, neither beverage or food. I discovered daily specials only later after seeing them on Twitter. The server was pleasant.Food average at best - no special flavours. We had pasta and a salad nicoise. The salad had no greens other than the green beans which were very very lemony. Likely the lack of greens was noted on the menu, I missed it. But having this salad with just potatoes, beans, hard boiled egg and fish was different. The pasta, again, nothing special.Maybe if we lived within walking distance, we'd give it another try. Maybe."

"I love the roast beef sandwich and French fries. The fries are seasoned and it is very hard to stop eating them. The portions are generous as well. There is good beer to wash it all down. If you are into dark beers, I recommend the Kalamazoo Stout."

"It is located near the waterfront and has an open sitting area as well.Ordered their vegetarian Bowl-Rito with rice.The quantity was good for 2 people.Also tried their Draught beer, which was 5 dollars. The taste was good .The server we had could have been better in terms of service provided.They usually have happy hour till 6 PM."

"Freebirds has been one of my main lunch spots@least once a week for 10+yrs. now. This store, in particular is my favorite. I love the food, the unique rebel spirit this company embodies. They also cater, are a great choice for the occasional employee luncheon or office party. I'm a huge fan, from way back. Always satisfied, feel good spending my money time with my people@Freebirds... 5 stars, 2 thumbs; way up!"
