"Been a few times to this restaurant. It's rather hidden inside Plaza Minarate, an unassuming shopping center whose biggest store is a Sam's Club. Laihoo's Café makes for a great breakfast spot in Tijuana and I love their chilaquiles!!!! The size of the plates are generous. The mole, café con leche and the delicious biscuits are to die for!!! Not quite sure why the name says "Café de China" as I did not see any Chinese item on the menu and none of the employees looks of Chinese descent... Love this place and will come back again and again! I asked one of the servers about what there was to do in Tijuana that Saturday and she kindly gave me coupons for the Cultural Center of Tijuana and I spent there the rest of the day. Thank you!"

"A pesar de que las empanadas son entradas no me gusta comer otra cosa en este lugar, no porque no sea bueno o apetecible, sino porque las empanadas son maravillosas. Hay un montón de cosas diferentes pero mis favoritas son de camarón, champiñones y portobello con una deliciosa limonada batida. Además, el lugar es muy agradable, tienen servicio de descorchado y, desde hace un tiempo, también venta de vinos."

"This place is a great place to experiment real Mexican food with homemade fresh taste, most of the dishes are prepared at the moment from scratch, delicious food choices (not so spicy) just good to the taste. Everything in the menu is prepared to perfection in a very unique way. Very good food, very good service, English spoken, I like the Nice Mexican atmosphere, Chef is David Alejandro Pastrana and Chef Isabel Lucio together they create wonderful flavors!!They also served tacos “arrachera” tender and juicy, steak, Chorizo, “alambre” (one of my favorites) and especially the “Coyote” is real good, if you are hungry try it, and if you are not try it!!! you would love it!! yummie, salsa are delicious, a big taco with flour tortilla, steak, onion cilantro, pinto beans, slices of avocado. Melted Cheese, and salsa this was one of the best taco I’ve ever had I like the place very much."

"This is the famous place in tijuana for people that just like to sit a long while and talk alot. there coffee is good but food and service awful. I waited 45 minutes for my order then it was cold,bland and tiny.The waitress talks to other waitress and is very indifferent to the customers. a take it or leave it attitude.And remember, no a or b or c sign for health safety.thank god for los angeles, where you have a idea of what is acceptable standard of cleanliness.BEWARE. do not get sick."

"Yum! Yum yum! Yum. Yum! There is always a wait here. FOR GOOD REASON! This place is nothing but great rates! Traditional eggs and bacon. Or chilaquiles, served red, green or more style! "This place is excellent, we had the breakfast menu available only, but food was so good. The chilaquiles prehispanicos and the cazuela de lengua in green sauce was exactly what we wanted for a good breakfast. Service is really good and fast too it took about 15 to get our food and it was a busy Sunday morning. Oh and they have live mariachi music too..definitely will be returning to this place next time we are in Tijuana..."
