"Seated at a small rocky table by a window that should be fixed or taken out of service. We were only given one menu for two of us sitting across from each other and it was our first time there so we had to take turns to decide what to eat. Plenty of salsa but a bit spicy for us though the flavor was good. The servings are huge, the food was piping hot. We had a ground beef burrito, chicken enchiladas and a tamales served with rice, beans as a little salad tossed in. The food was good but there were a couple of flies that annoyed us and the place could be cleaner, but the food was good and more than plentiful and worth what we paid for it."

"We had a summer lunch outside on the patio yesterday. Simply wonderful in all ways. I loved the unique potato salad and coleslaw and the pulled pork was great. If you can't face the Tillamook downtown traffic (Iike I can't) go SOUTH to Southern Roots. Most relaxing lunch I've had in a long time!"
