"We were on the hunt for some good seafood and we found it! I had the platter and my wife had the 1 pound of boiled shrimp... well... she ordered it.. but we both got plenty out of it with some to take home. Everything was very good and it satisfied our need for the sea.... food. I got some Boudin Balls to take with us as a travel snack and they too, were simply amazing. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. Add to that a very friendly staff and it made for the perfect dinner."

"I love the Hot Dog Man!!! I enjoyed his chili dogs with everything (fully loaded) as he had his booth in downtown Washington Street on the day. I love to visit when I'm in Vicksburg. Paula always has a warm smile to greet me as she takes my order. I love the fact that the consistency is kept and I know what and who expects every time I visit. I love it... if you're ever in Vicksburg and grab some and enjoy."

"Served for boiled cancers and absolutely got what I needed! They were huge, juicy, easy to peel, very tasteful, and even had a seasoned and unseasoned option. The other food was also quite good, especially the roast beef and red beans and rice. I'll eat there again!"

"Marilyn served me well. Here at 12:45. Buffet was good. Okra tomatoes always good. That was the steamed cabbage. Pinto beans were all right. Catch well. Corn on Cob very good. Potatoes well, but slightly salty. Dessert was roasted chicken, always looking forward to it."

"Stopped while traveling through since it was close to the exit and had plenty of parking. It was Friday evening so there was a 5-8 minute wait. After being seated our waitress promptly got our drink orders. Wife had the bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo; gravy was fantastic. I had the fried catfish which was Greg and tasty with rice beans (it was okay) and the bread was simply delicious and should’ve had a few more rolls lol."

"When I first entered I was sceptical, it was definitely stepping back in time. It was mid morning and missed breakfast so I was disappointed they had no coffee at all after breakfast..food was buffet style where staff dished it up for you...Place was packed with what looked to be locals. Staff was friendly ended up grabbing some philly cheese steak fries to go and Omg they were delicious! Would definitely stop in again hopefully in the am so I could try the grits."

"That was a good Cajun/Southern food. I have the gum and the shrimps. I filled up and it was delicious. I wish they had a better beer selection. Vicksburg must jump on the craft beer car."
