"Absolute star of a place. Waynesville is really up-and-coming. Actually it might be too popular even say that these days. I love this bar is large enough to have a ton of options and seating, it still gives that small town feel. The server we had was absolutely phenomenal. Very attentive and super friendly. Approachable and energetic, but not ever bearing. Their mimosa weekend brunch was super affordable and fun. Small mimosas but great ratio. I didn't get to eat because I wasn't hungry, but the menu looked amazing for vegetarian and nonvegetarians and most diets. Lots of local highlights. Really really love the decor of this place and vibe. Set an older building, it had beautiful wood and lighting. Great decorations and art as well. Definitely felt like a community space"

"I have eaten at Fat Buddies in Waynesville, the food is good, for the price there could definitely be more. I feel like the BBQ dinner plate is the size of a kids meal only difference is the extra side. I'm from Eastern NC, I am really disappointed that a NC BBQ restaurant doesn't offer Eastern NC sauce for the Pork BBQ, but they offer a Georgia Mustard Style Sauce it's very disappointing and frustrating because I feel like Fat Buddies could definitely step up they're quality of portions and create more sauces so I rate this restaurant a half star maybe even a one star very unsatisfied every time I've tried it. Definitely want go back and don't recommend it to anyone"

"I don't find myself speechless many times, but this place found me speechless. From beginning to end it was TOP NOTCH! We were visiting family from out of town and went to celebrate my cousin's 40th birthday. The outside environment with the smoker and lights is a GREAT sitting area to enjoy dinner and/or wait to be seated inside. The restaurant is located in a neighborhood. You don't expect to see it then all of a sudden there it is! Let's START with Jim! Oh Jim our server, how he made us feel like we were sitting at his family table. THERE WAS NINE of us! And he managed to meet all of our needs before we even knew we had a need or want. He brought out all of their sauces ALL amazing! Try them all! Their brisket was the best that I have EVER had! BY far! The only disappointment is that they live too far from us in Florida for a drive to dinner haha! The banana pudding for dessert was fantastic. The fall off the bone dry rub baby backs were PHENOMENAL! I will say this pass on the fries. They have MANY other sides that are delicious for you to try you can get fries ANYWHERE. I'm telling you pass on them and try one of their other delicious sides. Next time I may just order one of everything! Already excited for our next trip in November! Thank you Jim and crew for an AMAZING evening!"

"I travel full time and visit new coffee shops almost every day. That being said, the best value shop I?ve visited in a long time is SMCR. Their coffee is amazing and they have 5 roasts on drip, including decaf. Their drip coffee prices are less than half ofStarbucks and most roasters. On top of it all they have very friendly service, good WiFi, and a decent amount of seating. Ididn?t get to try their pastries but noticed they have a large assortment. Definitely recommend!"
