"Clean and friendly. We were able to change the breakfast content to what we wanted and the food was freshly cooked and piping hot and stayed warm until the end of the meal which is a fabulous result. Value for money we will be returning. Happy customers"

"Been here before. Independent set in a large garden centre. Good comprehensive menu with a blackboard of special offers Various drinks. All food ordered was enjoyable and came to us within 15 minutes. Prices are quite reasonable Only complaint was it was drafty and intermittently cold when door opened, although we had seated ourselves away from the door. There was an overhead fan heater but that tended to cut in and out not retaining good level of wrath. Mind you it was a rather cold windy day!"

"First choice for a guaranteed meal and service when meeting friends, it never disappoints. Viv runs a great restaurant and he has excellent support from his team. In terms of food I rarely decide what to eat instead I put my trust in Viv to decide that for me, it’s the best way! Last evening Viv recommended a new dish Kachampuli (I had a lamb version) served with Dal and Naan, very nice indeed! The first taste is acidic but then the flavours change to fruit and spice and eaten with the Dal I really enjoyed it. If you don’t choose this particular dish do try leaving your choice to Viv, I doubt you will be disappointed."

"We camped for nights a mile down the road and popped in this lovely pub for lunctime drinks . Beautifully kept harveys and nice wine The atmosphere was so friendly that we visited again in the evening for supper and their quiz night which...was great fun. The food was lovely and we really feel that is a traditional English pub just the way it should be. We intend to re visit the camp site and will definitely re visit the pub."

"We braved trying the "fluffy "pancakes in the hope they had realised how awful they are and reverted to a normal American pancake recipe. We were disappointed. They are still solid, Victoria sponge like, pancakes and not light and fluffy at all and taste horrible. My 11 year old gannet refused to eat them. Even the chocolate sauce was disgusting, it had a film of oil on top of the jug and fell out in one lump. When I mentioned to the waitress she said they are fluffy American pancakes, when I said there is nothing fluffy or American about them, she said I know they aren 't nice!"

"We found this great café on our way home from a trip to Eastbourne. We ordered a small English and small vegetarian breakfast. Both were, in my opinion, very generous. The chef, Matt ,also came out to check whether my wife was a vegetarian to assure her that he would cook it separately. The food was freshly cooked and the options for vegetarian breakfast included halloumi and spinach. Both my wife and I agreed that this was a good find and was one of the best breakfasts we ever had. We will definitely return when we are in the area again."

"Beautiful, independent guided garden center, took some inexpensive plants, refreshing to get away from the company garden centers. more like a garden than a garden center left out. if they have to buy something, they go to the big greenhouse and ring the bell (it is not obvious where the floors are! . has not used the caffe because we had eaten somewhere."
